A Happy Country Home for Your Dogs
Hi, I’m Debbie, and I live with my partner and our lovely rescue dog, Mio, in a peaceful countryside setting on Rådmansö, near Norrtälje. Dogs are very much part of our everyday life, and I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable about where your dog is staying when you can’t be with them. My aim is to offer a genuine home-from-home, where your dog is treated as part of the family rather than simply being boarded. Mio is a very friendly and sociable dog who enjoys the company of other dogs. We have plenty of space both indoors and outside, and our home is surrounded by beautiful countryside, woodland and quiet roads and paths that are perfect for dog walking. I particularly welcome small to medium-sized, friendly dogs who are comfortable sharing a home with another dog.

Ratings and reviews
Debbie is a fantastic dog sitter! She is caring, knowledgeable and took great care of Mango and Danny for long periods while we were away. Our dogs love her! I totally recommend her, your pets wouldn’t be in better hands!

Schedule
I spend a lot of time at home, so dogs staying with us will have plenty of company, attention and cuddles. Our normal day with Mio already revolves around his walks and outdoor time. We usually go for at least three walks every day — morning, late afternoon and again before bedtime — and a visiting dog would simply become part of our normal routine. There is also plenty of opportunity to potter around, play or relax in the garden during the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routines as closely as possible so that staying away from home feels familiar and comfortable.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
One of the things that makes our home particularly suitable for dogs is our large, fully enclosed garden. There is plenty of room to explore, sniff, play or simply lie outside and enjoy the fresh air, while the fencing and gate mean dogs can enjoy the garden safely. We live in a quiet countryside location rather than a busy town environment, with lovely walks straight from home. Before accepting a new dog, I would always like us to have a Meet & Greet, preferably with Mio too. It’s important to me that your dog feels comfortable here and that the dogs are happy together. I would also want to know all about your dog’s personality, routine, likes and dislikes, feeding, sleeping arrangements and anything else that will help them settle in.

A typical day
Your dog will become part of our normal family routine while staying with us. We usually start the day with a lovely morning walk through the beautiful countryside around our home. During the day, there is plenty of time to play, explore and sniff around our large, secure enclosed garden, or simply relax and have a cuddle indoors. We normally take at least three walks each day – morning, late afternoon and before bedtime – with lots of garden time in between. Your dog will also have the company of our friendly dog Mio, who loves having other dogs around. I’m very happy to include favourite games, toys and activities that your dog particularly enjoys.
