Dog training is my full time professional focus, which means I am available for clients who need reliable care and training support on evenings, weekends, and during extended absences. Exercise goes beyond walks and fetch. I prioritize structured physical activity paired with mental enrichment to keep dogs engaged, balanced, and fulfilled. Each session is designed to ensure dogs receive the stimulation they need to return home relaxed, satisfied, and well worked.

Safety, trust & environment

Pets in my care are treated with consistency, structure, and thoughtful attention to their individual needs. Dogs are always supervised, and care is tailored to personality, age, and energy level. Active dogs receive appropriate physical activity, enrichment games, and structured engagement. Seniors and lower energy dogs are supported with a calmer pace, comfort focused handling, and low impact enrichment. A predictable routine helps dogs feel secure, balanced, and relaxed. When providing care in a client’s home, I follow established routines closely. Meals, walks, training, and playtime are handled exactly as requested to maintain continuity and reduce stress. Every home is treated with professionalism and respect, ensuring pets feel safe and supported while their owners are away.

Information Deborah-Lynn W. would like to know about your pet

All breeds, all temperaments, all welcome! I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality! From the wild child to the gentle old soul. I can’t wait to meet your pup (or pack) and make them part of the fun!

A typical day

Walking isn’t just about putting in the kilometers it’s about engaging the mind as much as the body. A couple laps around the block might make them pant for 30 minutes, but that doesn’t mean they’ve really exercised. I focus on walks that work the brain too. We practice impulse control, manners, and problem-solving through little challenges, tricks, and puzzles. Every outing is a mix of movement, focus, and fun, the kind that leaves a dog not just tired, but satisfied!

Pet care experience

Welcome to Worden’s Doggie Day Camp & Training: Where Sit Happens and Tails Never Stop Wagging! This isn’t a side gig this is what I do FULL TIME! Dogs are my passion, my career, and my daily life. With over 20 years in the pet industry and more than 10+ years as a veterinary technician, my experience runs deep. I’ve since expanded my education and become a Certified Dog Obedience Trainer and Instructor through Ashworth College’s Penn Foster Program. I’ve trained countless dogs across various breeds, ages, and temperaments! At home, I live with my two dogs who are always part of the action: Wheatley, my 4 year old Australian Shepherd and fully owner trained Service Dog. He’s my daily partner in both life and training, and we compete in several sports together. Gremlin, my 1 year old CKC Champion Chinese Crested, affectionately known as the house monster and expert cuddler. Before launching my own full-time business, I helped train puppies through Smith Haven Service Dog, supporting other handlers in the program. I’ve taught classes at local facilities and currently serve as both an ABI Urban and Country Rat Race Judge. I also teach UKC and CKC Rally and Obedience, helping handlers and their dogs strengthen teamwork and confidence. At Worden’s Doggie Day Camp, I provide structured canine care and enrichment services with a strong emphasis on safety, behavior, and appropriate social groupings. Dogs I work with are placed into compatible groups for supervised activity, enrichment, and skill building based on temperament, age, and energy level. I work with dogs of all ages, including seniors who benefit from a calmer pace and individualized handling. Each dog’s experience is tailored to their needs, whether that means active engagement, low impact enrichment, or focused behavioral support. All sizes, breeds, and energy levels are welcome. Basic obedience is required to ensure safety and group compatibility. I offer private training sessions and small group obedience work, conducted at client locations or other locations as needed. If you are looking for experienced, attentive canine care with a strong foundation in behavior and training, my focus is on creating safe, engaging experiences that support both mental and physical wellbeing.

Deborah-Lynn is always the right choice for our pup when we need daycare. She’s very accommodating to his sassy attitude and needs day by day. We can go about our workday with ease knowing he’s in good hands.

Deborah-Lynn figured out my pup right away during our meet-and-greet, and I felt confident booking her for a day of daycare. Billie enjoyed her stay, and I got some lovely photo updates throughout the day. I would not hesitate to book again, and would recommend to anyone!

Deborah-Lynn was exactly who we needed to support our three year old Burmese mountain dog mix Frannie. Frannie is cautious around new people and she immediately warmed to Deborah-Lynn and Wheatley. Frannie attended both daycare and boarding and had a great time. We highly recommend her!
