Safety, trust & environment
I have a fairly large, fully fenced yard and a calm home environment. On occasion, there may be another friendly dog present. I also have a spare room available if any dog needs space or separation.

Information Deborah L. would like to know about your pet
I need to know about any special needs, if any toys are off limits, aggression issues, sleeping needs, medication, and activity level so I can plan out appropriate activities.
A typical day
I usually take dogs for walks around the neighbourhood, and on nice days I’m happy to take them on nearby trails for a little adventure. At home, they can enjoy playtime in my fenced backyard. I love playing fetch and tug of war, and I also incorporate fun training games with my own dog.

Certified Dog Trainer & Walker
Pet care experience
I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. My grandparents rescued multiple dogs and cats, and growing up in their home taught me early about compassion, patience, and what animals need to feel safe and understood. When I was six, my family brought in a frightened kitten we found hiding in our garage, which sparked a lifelong love of animals. Later, while attending university in Alaska, I adopted a cat who lived to be twenty. In 2020, I completed a certified dog training program while raising a high-energy working-breed mix. That experience gave me hands-on knowledge of leash manners, impulse control, enrichment, and positive-reinforcement techniques. I also have experience with herding breeds and energetic dogs who need both structure and kindness. I’m a professional photographer and work primarily from home, which allows me to be flexible and reliable with scheduling. Whether it’s a structured walk, a calm drop-in, or time spent keeping your pet company, I treat every animal with patience, attentiveness, and care.

Very attentive to Webber.😎

Deb is exceptional with our pup. She makes it a point to tailor his walks to his needs and enrich his walks. He’s always tuckered out by the time he gets home!

Amazing to have such reliable help! Thank you

Deborah is amazing! She was great walking my special needs pup and always left detailed notes and cute pictures. I would recommend her to anyone.
