Animal lover in home office

Hi there! 👋 I’m Déborah, a true animal lover who can’t resist stopping in the street to admire every cute dog that passes by! 🐾 I work partly remotely, which gives me the flexibility and time to care for dogs or cats several times a week. I’ve been part of the Rover community since November 2021 and have loved every moment of it. Over the past few years, I’ve had the joy of welcoming many furry friends into my home - some of whom now visit me regularly! 🐶 I’m also looking to build long-term relationships with pet owners and their beloved companions, if it’s a good match. If you think I could be the right fit for your pet, I’d love to meet you! 💛

Thanks for taking care of little Miri 💜. She is a quite anxious dog but Deborah managed her pretty well. Booking was uncomplicated and I was being kept updated throughout the day. Happy to book her again!

It was love at first sight for Deborah and Nala. We are so grateful. Nala had a wonderful day in the neighborhood with Deborah, who not only took Nala for walks but also played fun games with her.

Déborah jumped in on short notice and agreed to take care of Panda despite my description of a dog with some issues and us not being able to meet beforehand. We had a nice phone call, in which she asked about Panda, answered all questions and gave some general information. When I dropped him off, he had some reservations about the situation but Déborah was patient and understanding with him from the first moment and took away my worries. Especially the first day she updated me frequently on how they are doing and also sent some pictures. I was over the moon to hear that Panda warmed up to her quickly and that they had a good time together. She took him on long walks, which was perfect for his energy level. Déborah is trustworthy, reliable, and communicative. I would 100% recommend her and will definitely ask her again next time I need caretaking for Panda. Merci beaucoup, Déborah! :)

Deborah took very good care of my dog. It was my first time using Rover and my dog whos usually very anxious when I’m away, was actually sad to leave when I picked her up :D Deborah was also really flexible and adapted to my needs, which isn’t something you can take for granted ❤️

Archie's regular babysitter had cancelled, so I asked Deborah at short notice to look after him on the day of my move. She took the time to get to know him beforehand and even looked after him for longer than planned because the move was delayed. I can highly recommend Deborah :)

Schedule

The day usually starts around 7:30am, with the first walk right after - a calm way to ease into the morning. ☀️ Around lunchtime (about 1pm), it’s time for a longer 30–45 minute walk - often to the dog park, through Friedrichshain, or exploring a new corner of the neighborhood. 🐾 Work typically wraps up around 6:30pm, leaving time for another nice walk or even a little outing to a nearby terrace for a drink. To end the day, there’s always a final evening walk around 9–10pm to make sure your pup is relaxed and comfortable for the night. 🌙 At home, dogs are welcome to roam freely and relax on the furniture - as long as that’s something they’re allowed to do at home too. There’s also a small park right in front of the building, perfect for quick potty breaks or short walks throughout the day. 🌿

Safety, trust & environment

Dogs are free to move around and make themselves at home — just like part of the family! 🐶 There’s always time for play, cuddles, and plenty of attention throughout the day. If food is provided, their usual feeding routine will be followed carefully, and with your permission, there are always a few healthy treats (like cucumber or carrots) ready to keep those tails happily wagging! 🥕😊

A typical day

I love playing with dogs and spending quality time with them! If the dog is comfortable we can go to parks or on longer walks over the weekends.
