Hi, I’m Deborah. I live on a widebeam canal boat with my husband and son, and I offer reliable, calm, and attentive care for dogs and cats and other pets in their own homes. I’ve had animals my entire life—from a Springer Spaniel growing up to rescue cats, chickens, rabbits and more. I currently live with a rescued Bulgarian street dog and two rescue cats, so I’m very comfortable with different temperaments, including nervous or sensitive animals. I understand that every pet is different. Some want a good walk and stimulation, others just want a steady, reassuring presence—and I’m happy to adapt to what they need. Before this, I worked as an office manager in a school, so reliability, organisation, and trust are second nature to me. If I say I’ll be there, I will be. I’m happy to help with: • Dog walking • Drop-in visits • Feeding, medication, and basic care • Keeping your home secure and your pet well looked after while you're away I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is safe and settled.

Safety, trust & environment
I only offer care in your pet’s own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. Keeping to their usual routine helps reduce stress and ensures they stay settled while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. I keep dogs on-lead during walks and I’m always mindful of their individual needs, behaviour, and surroundings. I’m respectful of your home and will leave everything as I find it. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have, from feeding routines to medication or household preferences. I’m happy to provide updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident everything is going smoothly.

Deborah looked after our 3yr old cockapoo for a week and sent us updates daily which were greatly appreciated as the first time we’ve left him.
Highly recommend Deborah who made the effort to meet & greet and walk our dog before dog-sitting over several days. Meeting Deborah gave me the reassurance to go on holiday. Schedule
I offer flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. As I’m home-based, I can often accommodate daytime walks and visits, as well as regular bookings. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine where possible, and I always recommend arranging a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everything is a good fit.
