Let me know what kind of personality your dog usually has around new people, what their favorite type of play is, and what level of stimulation they find comfortable. And of course, if they have any special diet or medication requirements.

A typical day

I love to match any pet's energy! If they want to play, I'll make sure they get their fill! If they need a nap, I'll provide them some comfort. There is a very nice walking trail in my community that I think has lots of smells that any dog would love!

Pet care experience

My first dog was the cutest little senior Shih Tzu. I cared for her for the last 4 years of her life and from that gained the experience of caring for a dog who is healthy up until they need extra care. Later on, my friend gave me his bunny when he had to leave the country. What was supposed to be a short stay with me became 4 years with my bunny until he passed. Shortly afterward, a friend found a cat on her doorstep and she took him to me to care for until we found his owners. I am grateful that my friends think I am trustworthy enough to care for pets both their own and not! Currently, I have a 2 year old cat that I adopted from a local shelter and she is the light of my life. And sprinkled throughout these years I have cared for the dogs and cats of my friends and family. I am extremely comfortable around animals and I'd love to help you and your pet have peace of mind that they are in good hands whether that means walking, playing, or even housing them!

Deborah was absolutely wonderful with our sweet Millie! From the meet & greet, Deborah really made such an effort to get to know Millie, and all her little quirks. During the stay, Deborah sent many photos and kept us up to date on Millie’s vacation. Would love to have Millie stay with Deborah in the future :)

I know there were no bad intentions here by anyone involved, but this was a nightmare scenario for me and my cats. Monty and Sansa are very sweet social babies. They typically take just a little bit of time to warm up to new people and places, and have been boarded with others before and had good experiences. I was traveling out of the country for several days. I'm not sure why, if it was the environment or the other animals in the house or what, but this situation was not a great from the beginning. The cats were spooked by something and scared the entire time. On the third day it seemed like things were going better - but then I learned that they had escaped through a window from the room they were staying in and they weren't able to get Sansa. This resulted in my cat being trapped on a roof in hot weather for several days and requiring vet care for injuries and other issues. A friend picked up Monty early from the booking; and he did fine and was his normal self with my friend the next few days before I made it back into the states. I was thankful I had a friend that could help manage the situation while I was away, and I'm thankful that the cat sitter was helpful and worked with me to try and get my cat off of the roof. But its not something I'd wish on anyone
