Dogs for All Seasons
I am very a experienced dog sitter and I love all kinds of animals. As I was growing up my Mom raised, showed and judged Borzoi, so I have been around dogs ever since I can remember. I have worked at a vet, watched dogs in my home, shown dogs, and had my own animals for more than 45 years. I have also gotten my wildlife rehabilitator license and care for orphaned or injured wildlife. I can give medication and take care of at risk or special needs animals. I am home most of the time and can give your animal a lot of love and attention. My dogs are easy going and enjoy company to play with. My grandson is 17 years old and he has grown up with dogs and he loves to play catch with them. We have a fenced in back yard and can also take dogs for walks, as we live in a great area for walking.

I had never left my dog with a stranger before and was very anxious about leaving her overnight. My dog can be snippy and I knew there would be other dogs there, but Deborah was so good at introducing her to the other dogs, it was not a problem. To complicate things further, I had to take my dog to the vet the morning I was to leave her and she was prescribed two oral medications. While I was gone, Deborah kept me updated on how my dog was doing without me, how she was interacting with the other dogs, and how she was taking her medications. I was such a nervous momma, but Deborah’s professionalism really put my mind at ease. Such a fantastic first Rover experience with Deborah. I will definitely be using her again!
Amazing! Debbie took great care of our dog even through a hurricane that took out the power and water!

Schedule
I work 2 days a week for a few hours. Otherwise I am home most of the time. My husband comes home for lunch everyday and checks on the dogs and lets everyone out.

Safety, trust & environment
I have 2 friendly dogs and a fenced in yard, so we play ball and run around. Our deck is a favorite place for sunbathing.I can provide a crate if needed. Dogs are allowed on the sofa. Your dog will just be part of our pack!
Pets
A typical day
We play ball in the back yard and sometimes take walks around the neighborhood. We have treats in the evening, after the last out. Snuggling on the sofa to watch TV in the evening is another favorite pastime!
