I've always had dogs - I had three Cavalier King Charles spaniels in the house at the same time growing up, and since then my family have had several other dogs. My stepdad now has two Yorkies who I look after regularly when he's away (one of them is VERY attached to me!). I have looked after friends' pets, including week-long stints around the country and abroad. I have also had hamsters, rabbits, mice and a cat. I love all animals, and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know the importance of interacting with them and giving them lots of attention too, so I won't treat it as just a basic job - I'll actually enjoy spending time with and getting to know your fur babies.

NB I don't offer sitting services in my own home. I am happy to follow any of your house rules and will make sure animals are kept inside where needed. I am a responsible dog walker and will only let a dog off its lead if given the green light by the owner, and only if it's in an enclosed space like a gated park, and only if the dog is feeling secure and is well-trained! I know what signs to look out for in unhappy pets, so you can rest assured your pets will be in good hands.

Debbie was great with our two little rescue dogs. They can be nervous around new people but she put them at ease very quickly. Debbie was easy to communicate with and we’d definitely book her again.

Debbie is a caring, lifelong animal lover. Can't imagine any safer hands to look after a cat (or dog!). She's looked after my cat for me and they get along great (as well as the furry little savage gets along with anyone!)

Schedule
I'm self-employed, so I can work anywhere, anytime. I can fit in any of your pet-sitting needs around my work - as long as I have a decent amount of time during the day to do my work, it doesn't matter how it's spaced out, so I can always prioritise your pets' needs. Taking them out for a walk or having a play-break is a great way to stop me sitting at my laptop all day!
