I've had dogs and many other pets my entire life- a boxer, pugs, Akita, Cairn, and a terrier mix with health issues, requiring extra care.

As an avid walker and hiker, I especially enjoy caring for dogs who love outdoor time and exercise. I also love exploring new communities and being in nature, so pet sitting is a great fit-it allows me to care for animals while experiencing new places in a meaningful way. I no longer have pets of my own and truly miss the companionship they bring, which makes caring for animals especially rewarding to me. Spending time with pets feels grounding and joyful, and I genuinely value creating a calm, reassuring presence for them while their people are away

I’ve known Debbie for more than 30 yrs as a co-teacher and a dear friend. She rescued Pepper-an abandoned puppy-and had him for 16+ yrs. taking care of him through epilepsy and cancer. They had a delightful relationship of trust and love. She is a very reliable, responsible person and would care for any dog in her care with enthusiasm, love, and energy!
I have known Debby for 45 years. She is my “big sister” from the organization Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. She has had dogs and various pets since I met her. Deb is responsible, caring, gentle, and loving with all animals, and people too! She naturally connects and bonds with animals very quickly. Her demeanor is calm, patient, and supportive. Pepper was the last dog she owned. She took care of him from puppyhood until his old age of 16 years. It was always beautiful to see how much they trusted and respected each other. I know she will develop trust and respect with any animal that's in her care.

Schedule
I'm recently retired, so pet sitting will be my full time priority. I will devote all my care and attention to your pets, plants and garden.
