I’ve lived with and cared for dogs for over 20 years, especially lurchers and greyhounds, so I understand both the zoomies and the couch-potato snoozes! I’m experienced with puppies, rescues, and senior dogs who need a gentler pace. Alongside my own dogs, I’ve gained experience caring for other people’s through BorrowMyDoggy, giving me a wide range of practice with different breeds and temperaments. What sets me apart is patience and empathy. Having worked in education and coaching, I know how to read body language, build trust, and create a calm environment for anxious or nervous pups. I’ve managed dogs with special diets and quirky personalities, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. At my home, fondly nicknamed the Puppy Palace Hotel, dogs get plenty of cuddles, safe walks, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

At the Puppy Palace Hotel, dogs are treated like family. My home is secure, with a fenced outdoor space and cosy indoor spots for resting. I keep walk routes safe and appropriate for each dog’s age and energy level, and I never let dogs off-lead unless owners are comfortable and recall is reliable. When I care for dogs in their own homes, I stick closely to their routines so they feel secure. I send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and safe. Trust is everything: I make sure every dog has a calm, caring environment, whether it’s a playful puppy visit, a long walk, or a quiet evening cuddle.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I tailor activities to their needs. For energetic pups, we’ll have plenty of walks, games of fetch, and zoomie-friendly play in safe spaces. For cuddle-bugs, there’s sofa time, belly rubs, and calm company. I love using enrichment games, from snuffle mats and puzzle feeders to scent games and trick training, to keep dogs’ minds busy as well as their paws. Long dogs get plenty of chance to stretch their legs, and older dogs get gentle strolls and comfy naps. At the Puppy Palace Hotel, dogs get the mix of fun, stimulation, and relaxation that keeps tails wagging.
