Experienced Pet Care Visits. Loving care when you’re not there. I was bought up with a dog and several rescued cats, who all meant the world to me and shaped my love of animals. After setting up my first home, I had 4 house rabbits who I litter trained and allowed free roam of my home, like cats. I am now a proud rescuer/adopter of 6 dogs over the last 25 years, 5 Dalmatians of my own and another Golden Labrador cross Alsatian, who I co-ordinated the rescue of, and found a loving home for, with one of my neighbours. My current two Dalmatians came to me through British Dalmatian Welfare who I have now volunteered for, as a fosterer, and have had recent experience of a home visit for potential adoption on their behalf. Over the last 10 years, my neighbours have relied on me to check in with, let out for toilet breaks, feed and play with their dogs, often for weeks at a time. The most recent stint was for 2 visits per day, 4 days/week, for 2 months. I am reliable, conscientious and trustworthy, and your pet’s needs and care will be my focus.

I’m comfortable with animals and find they respond well to me due to my caring nature. I would introduce myself to a new pet with a gentle approach. Having rescued animals, I have experience of nervous pets and excitable ones, and understand how to put them at ease.

This was the second time Debi has looked after my cats, Angel and Jessie, while I was away on holiday, and once again she was absolutely amazing. It’s such a comfort knowing they are in such caring and trustworthy hands when I’m away. When I came home, both Angel and Jessie were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. Debi always gives them so much love, attention, and care, and always sends lots of photos and video updates. She goes above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and settled, which gives me complete peace of mind while I’m away. I honestly couldn’t recommend Debi highly enough. She is reliable, kind, and fantastic with animals!
Debi is absolutely wonderful and has such a genuine love for animals! I felt completely at ease leaving my two cats in her care while I was away. She went above and beyond—sending regular updates and adorable videos that showed just how well my cats were being cared for. When I came home, everything was spotless and my cats were happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. I couldn’t have asked for better care! Would highly recommend!
It's a big thing to entrust our cats to someone we don't know but having had a meet & greet with Debi beforehand gave us lots of assurances and we were really pleased with the overall experience. Debi very obviously has a passion for fur babies and we were very happy with the care and video clips she sent us. A huge thank you to Debi and would very much recommend.
Reference for Debi I am pleased to provide this reference for Debi, whose support with our dogs over the years has meant a great deal to us. When we first moved into our current home, we had two Giant Schnauzers: Luther, then a puppy and Kaiser, our older dog who was living with epilepsy. At that time, I was working full‑time in Derby and my wife, Anna, was required in the office twice a week, so Debi’s help in letting the dogs out was invaluable. Her care became especially important when Kaiser’s epilepsy worsened. On the night my father passed away, Kaiser suffered a prolonged cluster of seizures. As we had both had a glass of wine and were unable to drive, Debi immediately stepped in and took him to the vets, where they were able to stabilise him. Thanks to her quick action, Kaiser went on to enjoy several more years of good quality life. We remain deeply grateful for her support during that difficult time. Both Kaiser and Luther have since passed, and we now have two more Giant Schnauzers, Jet and Bradley. Although Anna and I now work predominantly from home and no longer require daily visits, Debi continues to be someone we can rely on whenever needed. Debi is kind, trustworthy, and genuinely understands dogs. She is confident with large breeds and has never been fazed by the size, strength, or temperament of Giant Schnauzers. Her calm manner and nature make her someone we recommend without hesitation.
When on holiday Debi has frequently looked after our dogs and cats residing at our home. She has fed them as instructed and walked the dogs as required. None of our animals have ever voiced any complaints.

Schedule
I work from home and so can schedule home visits around my own working day. I would ideally like to expand my pet care services and hope to be able to offer more options in the near future.
