I walk my dog a mile every morning
I walk my dog a mile every morning, rain, snow or shine. I have a yard that all dogs are welcome to run around in. I have had dogs for about 20 years and can't imagine my life without them. I have young grandchildren in my home several days a week and they too have a dog and love being around dogs. My golden doodle is friendly towards all visitors both human and canine alike. I started watching friends’ dogs years ago when I realized how difficult it was to get someone to care for my own dog while I was away. I wanted to give them a safe and comfortable place where they would know that their pet was well cared for. I look forward to getting to know and care for your dog and will enjoy sending photos by text to help provide peace of mind while you’re away. I am sad to say that we no longer have Katie. We lost her June 2022 after a happy life. I don’t have the heart to remove her from my profile.

We were so lucky to find Debi to take care of our pups, Cooper and Bella Mia. They totally understood our pups different personality and handle each one with patient and care. We received updates three times a day (photos and video), which gave us priceless peace of mine during our trip. We truly feel that we found our pups home away from home and will definitely use them again in the near future.

Schedule
I am in and out of my home weekdays but mostly home. When I am out, my husband is home to care for the dogs under my care. They are not left alone often nor for a long time.

Safety, trust & environment
I walk any dogs that are here for about a mile in the morning and sometimes again later. This is followed by breakfast. They are free to run and be in the yard at any time.
A typical day
My grandchildren are often here as well and they love all the visitors and love to play, pet and cuddle with them. My husband and I also enjoy engaging with whoever is under our care in whatever way they enjoy, petting, playing etc
