My husband works from home, and I’m currently working part time. We are up by 6 every morning. I’m primarily trying this on the weekends to start, however depending on your situation, the weekdays could work as well.

I have a 10year old golden/lab cross. He is a neutered male and was trained by an organization as a service dog. He comes to work with me to work with students. We often watch other service dogs through this same organization, so I do have experience caring for other pets. We have a kennel in our home that we can use, if needed. While our dog loves other dogs, it would be important that your pet is not aggressive. I have zero concerns that our dog would ever be aggressive. We do not feed our dog anything other than two meals per day, as he is on a strict diet. Water is always out. We would follow all food directions you provide for your pet. Our pet is treated like a human, so no furniture is off limits and pet hair is just part of our lives.

As I’ve stated previously in my profile, it would be important to us that your dog not show any aggression towards other dogs. I can guarantee that our dog will get along just fine with your animal, so I just need to know the same about your dog. I want your dog to be as comfortable as possible, so I’ll ask where they like to sleep (in bed, kennel, couch, floor, etc…..) I’ll also want to know if your dog can be trusted not to chew things they shouldn’t or if they have accidents in the home. I can work around those things, but would want to know upfront so I can be sure to set them up for success in our home.
A typical day
We have a large backyard that is completely fenced. This is a great spot for the dogs to get lots of their energy out. We like to play fetch or take walks in our neighborhood.

I’m a married 51 year old mom with two daughters aged 17 and 14. I have over 25 years of experience working in a school setting, and am now working part time. I have a 10 year old service dog who lives with us, and works with students at my school. I treat dogs as well as my own children, as I understand how much they are a part of your family. I’m responsible and will be as connected to you as you want- sending updates and pictures to ensure you feel confident that your pet is safe and happy.

Debby and her family treated Snowball like her own and sent photos and messages throughout her stay to keep us feeling comfortable and reassured. She was an amazing dog watcher and she protected our puppy. Our dog was happy, happy, happy.
Our second time sending our dog to Debby and everything was great! She provided daily pictures/updates and gives our boy all the love and attention while we’re away :)
