Acres to run in Indian Hill

(PLEASE SEE NOTE ABOUT INITIAL MEET & GREET REQUIREMENT, BELOW) Your pup can enjoy nearly an acre of fenced-in garden and open space with Killian, our 3 year old Irish setter, and Cora our 5 year old Pembroke corgi. Killian is very friendly & playful with every dog he has ever met! Cora is ultra friendly, and the official playmate of all guest dogs. Lots of indoor and outdoor space to play, and 24 hour supervision. We'll do off-property walks if you desire, but the yard is so big that even our dogs are never bored at home. Your dog can sleep in open living room space or a crate if they prefer. Dogs have been part of our family for over 30 years. (note: overnight rate covers @ 24 hours, including daycare). We do ask that all dogs (and their owners) have a brief "meet & greet" with us prior to agreeing to a booking: this allows you to see the house/accommodations, and also allows everyone to make sure the dogs all get along and that it's a good fit for everyone. (note that we typically do not take Rottweilers, GSD's, Pits, Dobermans, and similar dogs. No disrespect to those breeds, but this is our choice based on experiences). THANKS Why I love dog sitting Both Debbie & Chuck were raised with dogs (a cocker, a springer, and 2 labs between them) and together they have had a lab, a mini schnauzer, five Irish setters, and two corgis in the past 30 years. Oh, and 2 human daughters too! About my yard Our back/side yard has a 5' tall aluminum fence. The fenced in area is @ half an acre. There is a large garden/waterscape in the middle coming off the back patio. There is plenty of running room for everyone. My experience administering medication yes. Both of us have experience in this field; Debbie is a doctor

Chuck welcomed Weston into his home and took great care of him while we were on vacation. They have a couple very good dogs that Weston had a lot of fun with. Their fenced yard is perfect for outdoor play. He came home happy. Highly recommend Debbie and Chuck as dog sitters.

Weston was well cared for and had plenty of room to play. Chuck was a great host for our dog. I appreciated his willingness to watch Weston on short notice. Highly recommend.

Morris seemed like he had a great time at Debbie and Chuck’s house! We appreciate their clear communication and the updates during his stay. He was clearly pooped after a fun weekend hanging with the other pups.

Chuck and Debbie took amazing with Bella. They sent updates everyday and made sure she was comfortable the whole time. Very communicative and will absolutely book with them again. It was so nice knowing she was in such great hands that I didn’t need to worry about her while traveling.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks If you want, we can take your dog for a walk in the neighborhood. But this is rarely necessary since the property is so big and has so much running room Your dog's sleeping arrangement If your dog normally sleeps in a crate, you can bring yours or we can provide one. Otherwise, our dogs beds are on the (carpeted) floor of the family room by the fireplace - though our dogs also use a couple couches/chairs in that room or the adjoining solarium. We also have a finished lower level play room for dogs (and people). Time I'll spend with your dog One of us is here almost all the time. We spend quite a bit of time with our dogs, and our guests.

Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Debbie can host up to 2 pets per night
We schedule meet and greets with all prospective guests and their owners; it is as important to us to have dogs we know will be a match with ours as it is for you to know your dog will be in great hands. As long as a dog is not aggressive (or a breed known as such), we're usually happy to have them. Tiny dogs are probably not the best match.
