I have a good deal of experience working with dogs that need a more gentle touch. Not all dogs enjoy lots of fuss and activity for many reasons. It’s quite a special thing to earn the trust of timid dogs for whom the world can be a scary place. My empathic nature and experience in energy work help me appreciate the unique needs of each dog I work with. I’m happy to walk, play, cuddle, or just “be” as appropriate for the dog's comfort. At home I have handicapped pets of my own, including a paralyzed terrier mix (RIP Rogue) and a tri-pawed chihuahua. My experience with differently abled dogs has taught me that with a bit of adaptation, there is no reason why they can’t lead healthy, happy lives just like any other dog.
