Family who loves all types of dogs!
Growing up myself and my partner Darren always had dogs in our family homes and enjoyed caring for them, taking them on walks etc. We each have experience with several different breeds of dogs. Our son who also loves dogs is getting to an age where he wants one and is willing to take on some of the responsibility. We would love to take this as an opportunity to allow him to meet a variety of dogs and learn how to care for them (under our watchful eye) and gain some of the skills needed to look after a dog of his own one day while earning some pocket money. We live in a house with plenty space both indoors and out. We are also fortunate enough to have a large woods behind our house and plenty green spaces all around us and enjoy exploring the local woodland areas, we are a very active outdoors family.

Finn came back to us looking better than he went in to Debbie's home!! We were sent photos and an update regularly on how he was getting on. I would highly recommend this home for a dog sit 😀
Cali, our bulldog stayed 5 nights with Debbie and Darren. It was a last minute booking. The couple took great care of Cali and seemed very competent, knowledgeable and calm with dogs. They had two other dogs alongside Cali staying (also boarding) and Cali got on fine with them. I got photo updates which was nice. Especially as we weren't sure how Cali would be since there was no time to do a familiarity visit. All was fine! The couple were able to administer her various medications and respond to her old age needs. Cali loves attention and their son gave her lots which was fabulous. Thanks again.
Debbie and her family are absolutely fantastic, I cannot thank them enough for looking after our darling boy whilst we were on vacation! Debbie sent plenty of pictures and daily updates, fast replies which gave me ease of mind whilst I was halfway around the world. My boy seemed to settle in extremely well and it’s all thanks to their love and care for him! I can happily say that I would 100% use Debbie and her family for boarding services! Completely over the moon with my experience. A million thanks again to all of you for looking after Presley ❤️
Brodie had a wonderful stay with Debbie and Family. They were so lovely with Brodie. He got great walks in the woods near Debbie s Home. Debbie sent regular photos and updates about Brodie. Look forward to using Debbie again and would not hesitate to recommend her 😊🐶

Schedule
I am currently working full time term time. Darren works hybrid hours meaning there is always someone home. I am off all school holidays currently in accordance to The Edinburgh City Council term dates. As a family we enjoy going on walks and exploring our area.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure private front and back garden for the dogs to play in. Our garden also has direct access to the woods behind our house and there is plenty green spaces within walking distance. Our house is warm and inviting to all pets and we have looked after several friends and family pets during holidays. I also have a car and I am willing to drive further out to other woodland areas and parks to ensure plenty fresh air and exercise.
A typical day
We will take the dogs out on long walks in woodland areas and local parks, enjoying being out in the fresh air, we will also provide lots of love and attention.
