Pet care experience
Family who loves all types of dogs!
Growing up myself and my partner Darren always had dogs in our family homes and enjoyed caring for them, taking them on walks etc. We each have experience with several different breeds of dogs. Our son who also loves dogs is getting to an age where he wants one and is willing to take on some of the responsibility. We would love to take this as an opportunity to allow him to meet a variety of dogs and learn how to care for them (under our watchful eye) and gain some of the skills needed to look after a dog of his own one day while earning some pocket money. We live in a house with plenty space both indoors and out. We are also fortunate enough to have a large woods behind our house and plenty green spaces all around us and enjoy exploring the local woodland areas, we are a very active outdoors family.

I picked Bear up from Debbie’s and as usual he was excited to see me. He was in tip top condition and looked like he was enjoying life. Only thing that would have made it better was saying our goodbyes to Debbie. Thank you for having Bear. I would absolutely use Debbie’s services again if the family were not able as this time. ❤️
All very postive experience from first meet to two week stay. Plenty of photos so we had a good idea he was being well cared for and could enjoy our holiday without worrying about being away from Timmy. Thank you
Debbie, Darren and Owen are really lovely and they took great care of my dog Finn on his first holiday away from me. He was happily playing when I went to pick him up so it was clear he had a great stay. Debbie sent me lots of photos and it was clear Finn was having a great time on numerous walks to the park and the woods beside their home. I can’t thank Debbie and her family enough for the excellent care Finn received during his stay. Debbie responded quickly to my booking request and I will definitely be asking her to mind Finn during my future holidays. I would recommend Debbie, Darren and their son Owen to anyone looking for a caring, professional and reliable dog sitter.
Debbie, Darren and Owen really welcomed our Mabel into their home. We got lots of pictures of everyone having fun outside in parks and playing with toys. We also got photos of Mabel enjoying her favourite thing, playing with Owen and snuggling in next to him. She was very well looked after and Debbie administered her antihistamines for her allergies when needed. We could tell that Mabel really bonded well when we collected her today. Highly recommend Debbie and family to look after your beloved dog! We would definitely use again!
Debbie and her family are really lovely and took great care of Mungo. They were very accommodating to changes in timings. He was a very happy boy when I picked him up and had lots of fun playing with their dog Mabel.
Due to a last minute emergency we needed someone to look after my mum's Leo. Debbie and her family were fantastic. They kept Leo to his routine and really looked after him. Debbie responded very quickly to any queries we had throughout Leo's stay. Leo came back happy and well. I would highly recommend Debbie to anyone who would want their pet looked after when they need this.

Schedule
I am currently working full time term time. Darren works hybrid hours meaning there is always someone home. I am off all school holidays currently in accordance to The Edinburgh City Council term dates. As a family we enjoy going on walks and exploring our area.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure private front and back garden for the dogs to play in. Our garden also has direct access to the woods behind our house and there is plenty green spaces within walking distance. Our house is warm and inviting to all pets and we have looked after several friends and family pets during holidays. I also have a car and I am willing to drive further out to other woodland areas and parks to ensure plenty fresh air and exercise.
A typical day
We will take the dogs out on long walks in woodland areas and local parks, enjoying being out in the fresh air, we will also provide lots of love and attention.
