We welcome housebroken dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds into our home. Our home is 100% pet friendly. Your housebroken dog will have full access to our home and fenced yard. We have a kennel if your dog prefers to sleep in one, or they are free to sleep anywhere in our home. Your dog will be part of our family! About this sitter: Your pet is most comfortable in their own home. Some pets are anxious and scared when their owners are away. Having me come to your home to care for your pets will allow them the security and comfort of being in their usual surroundings and able to be in their normal routine. During each visit, I will ensure your pet is fed, given time outside (as needed), and given lots of individual attention and play time. Why I love dog sitting I've been an animal lover all my life, and in particular, I have loved dogs since I can remember. My family always had dogs when I was growing up. I've been married for over 30 years and we have had at least one dog in the house at all times, but usually two or three. About my yard We live on 7 acres. There is a doggie door that leads to a fenced-in area. There are also trails through the woods for walks and open areas for play. Additionally, we have a comfortable deck in the fenced area in the event your dog wants to lay outside while at my home. My experience administering medication Yes. I have extensive experience giving dogs tablets and pills, applying various ointments and creams, and administering eye, nose, and ear drops.

Debbie was fantastic! I didn't worry at all knowing Coco was in good hands. She enjoyed her stay and appreciated getting updates and photos.
Debbie was very welcoming to my very wary stranger/danger dog. She was patient with him and within an hour he was comfortable with her and her dogs and seemed to be the affectionate loving dog that he is. We will be back to build some playdate memories.
Debbie was great! She sent lots of photos and updates. My dogs had a great time making friends and being outside!
Gus had the absolute best week ever! Debbie was fully active with him and communication was above and beyond. It was like summer camp for pups, in all the very greatest ways. Swimming, running, snuggling and hanging with some new besties! I was more than pleased with his care. I usually travel with Gus, but this was a week he couldn't come and it was even better for him. 10/10!
Everything went great! Debbie kept us informed and up to date on how the stay was going with pictures and videos, which is always comforting. Upon return home my two Great Danes did not seem stressed out at all, so I know they enjoyed having her here. The house was also in spotless condition! We will definitely have Debbie take care of our giant fur babies again in the future.

My husband and I recently retired to Skaneateles, so we are home almost all the time! Your pet(s) will have constant companionship while in our home.

Your pet(s) will have full access to our home; however, I have a crate if preferred. Only my husband and I live in our home, so your pet(s) will feel safe and no strangers will be here.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Your dog will be walked throughout the seven acres of our property. There are lots of trees and shade. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog has many options on where to sleep. We are a pet-friendly home, so dogs are free to be on our couches, chairs, and beds. If your pet prefers their own bed, please bring it along. Additionally, if your dog feels more secure in a kennel, I have a large one available for use. Time I'll spend with your dog My schedule is extremely flexible! I spend most of my time at home. Your pet will be with me a majority of the time. The amount of time I spend with your pet depends on the dog's requirements and your requirements. I will stay in your house the entire time while you are away and will live with your dog just as you would; however, I'm also available to visit your house several times per day if that's what makes you and your dog comfortable. I'm flexible to your needs. Extra house-sitting services Yes, I'm happy to do additional "house sitting" tasks while you are away, such as watering plants, bringing in the mail, light house cleaning, etc. I will make your home look "lived in" by adjusting lights, blinds, and curtains and assuring newspapers and fliers don't accumulate in your yard or at the front door.
