Medication and Health: Administer any required medications precisely as instructed by the owner and vet. In an emergency, contact the owner or the provided emergency vet number immediately. Companionship and Mental Stimulation. Dogs are social animals and need interaction. Spend quality time with the dog, offering affection, cuddles, or gentle play. They have a comfortable, quiet place to rest undisturbed.. Pick up and properly dispose of dog waste during walks. Wash their food and water bowls frequently. Safety and Environment. Ensure the dog's environment is pet-proofed and secure, with potential hazards removed. Keep gates/doors locked and the house secure. Use a leash at all times when outside a securely fenced area. Have emergency contact information readily available, including the owner's details, a local emergency contact, and the vet's information.
