Home from Home doggie stay
I have had dogs most of my adult life Loosing our last dog Tia-Maria a few years ago We really missed having dogs around so started looking after dogs for friends and neighbours- After deciding to move and relocate we now live in a lovely village close to rivers and the beach- now l have left my job in the NHS after many difficult years during COVID - I have decided to make dog sitting my thing - I personally will gain so much as I enjoy having dogs around- but I also know what peace of mind it gives an owner to know their pet is safe I look forward to meeting your fur babies I also have a pet buggy should you have a pet that’s elderly but still likes being out and about see photos Do you have a family event ? or wedding happy to do a night and. a day so you can relax and enjoy the event

Friendly and caring dog sitter/boarder, we would definitely use again. Looked after our elderly Spaniel with care and understanding. Nellie sends her thanks as well. .
Second time Harley has stayed with Debbie & Gary- genuinely lovely people and treat Harley as their own- regular updates and photos show how happy Harley is staying with them-lovely beach walks and lots of cuddles, so reassuring that he is so well looked after 🥰
Well what can I say…..Debbie & Gary are JUST FABULOUS! From the moment I met them for our initial meet up I had never felt so comfortable leaving my dog somewhere! Like many people, I didn’t want to leave him in a kennel, I wanted him to have that home from home experience 🐶 Bruce was taken on long walks daily, and they fit Bruce into their own lives, taking him on a ferry to the seaside, running him across the beach, long countryside walks, and much more! I was contacted at nearly everyday with an update and pictures of his adventures which was just so thoughtful 💗 My Veterinary practice was 1 hour away from their house, and when he unfortunately came down with an ear infection due to skin complaints they did not hesitate to contact me and take him there as that’s where he’s registered. Everything from the outset was taken into consideration (his routine, his behaviour traits, his feeding, his walking routine, his energy levels, his health and much more) Debbie and Gary, thank you SO SO much for treating my fur baby with such love and care like he was your own, I appreciate it so very much and there is no one else I’d rather leave my dog with 🐕
Absolutely wonderful. Debbie and her husband looked after Jasper as if he was their own. He was happy, chilled and relaxed when I picked him up and I got daily photos and a message about what they'd been up to. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you !
Louie settled in really well with Deb and was treated as part of her family, he loved the lovely walks and cuddles he had during his stay, will definitely be returning
Debbie had our dog Harley for one night. Prior to having him we met her at her house and had a good chat about Harley’s food, sleep, walks etc. he really took to both her and her husband, they are genuinely lovely people and really want to take care of the dogs they are looking after. A few weeks later Harley went to see Debbie for an hour and we left him to see how he would be, he was very settled and Debbie took the time to send a couple of pictures showing him chilled out. Subsequently I had no worries at all leaving him overnight. Debbie took really good care of him, sent a couple of pictures to reassure me and I think he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. I would have no hesitation in using Debbie again and have already booked another stay 😊 🐶

Schedule
Currently I’m not working- I live very local to my in laws who are elderly ( same road) whom I check on and support daily I’m lucky that I can plan my day around walking dogs whilst still being able to check on my family . I like to keep fit so walking and being active fits in well with dog care- I’m also used to older dogs and giving meds

My garden is safe and secure- I also can shut doors inside before opening any main doors / I also have a gate if needed to close any room off if required We live in a very safe area with no main through roads directly in front of our property
A typical day
With a young dog I’m happy to be up and out bright and breezy trying to keep to the normal routine of the dog where possible- this will depend on the dog I will make sure I have lots of toys and enrichment activities
