Would Love to Care for your Dog!
I've had dogs and cats usually both at the same time as my children were growing up. Since early 70's. I loved them and they seem to like me ok. The last dog I had was a Border Collie rescue that I adopted in Omaha 2017 she was found in Louisiana. Her and I moved to Colorado in 2020. She was very sweet and also loved other animals in the building where we lived including cats. Sadly, she passed 2024. We could communicate just with body language and looking into each other's eyes as I spoke to her. I still interact with all the dogs in the building when I see them. We would also go on hikes up at Palmer Park on the off-leash dog trail. Made a lot of friends with dogs there as well. I now live with my children and their 3 cats. They are very sweet also. Lots of cuddle time. Our pets just need love and attention and know that we care. So, I do tend to spoil them while abiding by the rules.

Ratings and reviews
Wow, thank you Debbie! I was nervous leaving our girl, she's a rescue dog who has seen a few homes and didn't want her to think she was getting another. Thank you for coming to our place to watch her and sending pictures! You were so wonderful with her, giving her attention and working around her schedule. When we got back see was of course happy to see us but also peaceful and we could tell she wasn't distressed. Thank you again!! Next time we need someone to watch our girl, we'll look for you first. Couldn't have left her in better hands!

Debbie was absolutely amazing with our two girls, Lucy and Rumi! We were nervous going into this booking because Lucy takes a while to warm up to new people and tends to be anxious/vocal at first but Debbie was so patient and consistent with her that by the end of the stay, Lucy had gone from barking and hiding in the bedroom to a completely zero-bark day, letting Debbie scratch her ears and even walk her on leash. That kind of progress with an anxious dog speaks volumes about how gentle and attentive Debbie is. Rumi, our happy-go-lucky girl, was Debbie's shadow the whole time and clearly felt right at home with her too. Debbie sent detailed updates and photos after every visit, went above and beyond by offering to stay overnight so the girls wouldn't be alone for too long, and even left lights on for us before she left in case we got home after dark. Little touches like that show she genuinely cares. We came home to two happy, relaxed dogs and total peace of mind. Debbie made it possible for us to enjoy our trip without worrying, and we'll absolutely be booking her again. Highly, highly recommend!

Debbie took such great care of our dogs (and house) for 5 days! They both loved her so much and warmed up to her to quickly. She gave them so much love and affection while she was taking care of them and communicated with us daily and sent picture. Thank you Debbie, we can’t imagine anyone else taking care of our dogs while we are gone!

Debbie is very caring, does well with all pets. She has a wonderful heart, that's as big as the world when it comes to the love, and care that she will provide. I would recommend her for all your pet needs and care.
Debbie did an exceptional job and exceeded my expectations, staying with and taking care of my dog Hans and cat Sqeeker for a whole month. She always gives them lots of love and attention. They get excited when they see her.
Debbie has always been a wonderful caregiver for my pup! She is very loving, attentive, and reliable. I can’t think of a better person to take care of my dog when I can’t!

Schedule
I do have obligations a couple of times a week during the day. I'm usually gone about 2-3 hours when that happens. Evening meetings twice a month for couple of hours. I will do errands and help friends out from time to time. However, when I am scheduled to take care of a pet I work my schedule around them. Thursday mornings are the only day I cannot reschedule but I'm only gone for 2-3 hours average.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsDebbie can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I think it's best to meet the pets ahead of time when the owner is home. Also very important to know their normal routine. Along with any special instructions. Including the name and phone number for their Vet.
