I am self-employed with a house painting business. So my time is very flexible and can take time off if needed and/ or I have the freedom to come and go from jobs as needed. I do have my own transportation, so I have no problems getting to and from a pet / housesitting gig

A typical day
I will walk them and let the sniff as much as they want...if the pet loves the water, we'll go to the dog beach and chase sticks in the water. expend energy by chasing balls or toys. And have cuddles at the end of the day!!

Pet care experience
I have pet and house sat for friends and family over the years. I’ve had personal pets which I have raised and taken care of for most of my adult life. I currently am pet-less. Lost my last dog in 2021 and 1 cat in 2022, and the last one in 2024. My two dogs were raised from puppies and lived to 17 years old. The latest love of my life, Bugabu, lived without eyes for the last few years of her life and I was still able to give her a happy and active life. I had a cat who lived to 21 so I experienced caring for a senior pet. I also have experience in giving medication. I love being interactive with pets and love to go on walks or hikes with them.

Deb was the best cat sitter that we have ever had! She had our two shy cats in her lap within the first day, and they were so comfortable with her…. They barely noticed we were away! She easily administered medication to one of our cats, and we are so happy that we found her!
