I’m either doing freelance work or out hiking! I hate leaving dogs alone so I’ll usually tag team with my live in boyfriend to accommodate the needs of your dog if my work schedule is busier.

Knowing your preferences on where the dog can go and if they have any allergies is crucial. Also knowing how they interact with other dogs and do off leash is necessary.
A typical day
I usually take dogs on a hike if they have a lot of energy or if they do well off leash and get along with other dogs, we might go to the dog park. If you’ve got a couch potato, then I’m more than happy to just rub their belly and give cuddles for hours.

I’m a 30 year old freelance graphic designer recently returned from a year in New Zealand. Since my schedule is a bit hectic, it’s not conducive to owning a dog, but I love spending time with them, so that’s where rover comes in! I hate to think of dogs alone in their house when I’m free to hang out with them! Whether they are older and just need someone to keep them company or whether they have lots of energy, I can accommodate whatever dog you have. I have experience pet-sitting all of my friends and family's dogs including my sister’s large mutt as well as my neighbor’s 8 week old labradoodle. And I have lived with roommates who have dogs in the past so I've been able to be a co-parent to them. My boyfriend and I now have a cat who doesn’t get along with dogs, so I tend to only do housesitting, walks and the occasional day care to appease the queen of the house.

Deanne was so wonderful! She spent such good quality time with our kitty while we were gone and sent us updates everyday. She followed all the instructions to the letter and was super easy to communicate with. We will definitely use Deanne again when she’s available!
