Care in the comfort of your home!
I have been caring for dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve had the pleasure of caring for some wonderful pets through Rover. Sadly, a few of my longtime pup clients have recently passed away, so I now have room in my schedule to welcome some new furry friends. ❤️ I have a special place in my heart for older dogs and understand that they may need a little extra patience, attention and care. And I have to admit, Great Danes absolutely have my heart! I love their big, gentle personalities and would always be thrilled to welcome another Dane into my little family of clients. I’m also very happy to care for younger, well-behaved dogs and, of course, cats too! I have plenty of experience caring for pets who require a little extra attention, including giving pills, administering inhaled medications and other routine medications, as well as following special diets and specific feeding instructions. I’m very comfortable following your pet’s established routine and any instructions you leave for me. I now provide pet care exclusively in your home, including overnight stays. I truly believe most pets are happier and less anxious when they can stay in their own familiar surroundings. They get to sleep in their own bed, eat in their usual spot and maintain the routine they know and love. For overnight stays, I’ll be with your pet from the evening through the following morning each day. We’ll have lots of time for walks, meals, cuddles and companionship, while keeping their normal evening and morning routines as familiar as possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your pets behind. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing they are safe, comfortable and well cared for in their own home. 🐾❤️

I care for pets in their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications and any special instructions. I’m respectful of your home and will always make your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness my priority.
Ratings and reviews
Deanne cared for my pets while I was away for 1 week. She did an amazing job caring for them. I have dogs, cats, fish and turtles and she was happy to care for them all. She provided lots of snuggles and attention to my fur babies. She stayed right in my home and was very clean. She even performed extra tasks like taking out garbage and doing laundry, which was not expected but appreciated. I recommend her to anyone looking for pet care. Your pets will thank you!
Tafean was great! She responded to my request quickly and was so flexible. She stayed in our home for 1 week, cared for our 2 dogs and also took care of some routine home maintenance. She kept in touch over the week and sent photos. She made sure our dogs were comfortable and happy. We definitely recommend Tafean to anyone needing pet sitting services.
Tafean has a calm, kind way about her that set my cat and us at ease right away. She has a genuine and obvious love of animals, and is prompt in her replies to emails. She clearly does her best to accomodate owner's needs, and the pic she sent of our fussy, elderly and a little under the weather kitty made it a much less stressful holiday.
Auggie was a happy guy when I picked him up!! So thankful we found you on Rover, he will be a repeat visitor!! Thank you!!
Thank you so mucho for the card you’re so sweet !! We just wanted to shout a huuuge thanks or better say gracias for taking such good care of our babies. You did waaaay beyond the expected from giving their meds, to inhaler to even vacuuming and for what I've heard even cleaning up our doggies mess please know that we not only see you as a doggy sitter but as a friend who took fantastic care of our furry kids. When we scheduled a last minute vacation trip, our regular trusted dog sitter was unfortunately unavailable. We were scrambling and felt very unsure about who could properly take care of our little Bear. Tafean was recommended to us and we were thrilled with her care of Bear. When we returned Bear was thrilled as always to see us, but also equally happy to stay near Tafean and didn’t seem keen on coming home lol. (She must have been spoiled rotten!) We will happily use Tafean again in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to others.

Schedule
My schedule allows me to provide care from the evening through the following morning. I have plenty of time for evening and morning walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles and companionship. For overnight stays, I’ll stay in your home with your pet and do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. 🐾

- I’d love to know about your pet’s personality, normal routine and any little quirks that make them who they are! I always appreciate a “cheat sheet” with anything you’d like me to know — feeding and walking routines, medications, special instructions, commands or words they know, where they like to sleep, and what makes them feel most comfortable. Please also include your vet’s name and phone number, an emergency vet contact, and an emergency contact person I can reach if needed. The more I know about your pet and their usual routine, the easier it is for me to keep things familiar, comfortable and stress-free. 🐾❤️
