Kootenay retreat!
Hiking, biking, swimming and so many tummy scratches are in your furry family members future with us! Located in south Castlegar, we are near so many great spaces to explore the outdoors that your four legged little will hardly notice you are gone. My son has recently moved away to play hockey and his pup Ted is pretty lonely without him. We have an unfenced yard but can go for long walks and leashed hikes. I work 7-3pm and come home at lunch to hang out with Ted for an hour.

Deanna proved incredibly accommodating for a time sensetive matter, a wonderful dog sitter and I thank her very much for looking after our sometimes stubborn breed!
Deanna and her son were absolutely fabulous looking after our dog over the weekend. Our pup had some difficulty adjusting to a new home but they handled in incredibly well and professionally. I would 10/10 recommend!
We weren't sure how our dog would be overnight with someone he didn't know. However Deanna and her son were Amazing!!! They took great care of our little guy and we had peace of mind! Will definitely use their services again and Highly Recommend!
Deanna and Quinn took great care of our pup, Mia. They sent pictures of her doggy vacation and I can tell that Mia was kept entertained and was offered every comfort in their home. Mia slept like a rock after her stay with them. I would highly recommend Deanna and Quinn as dog sitters.
My dog had a fantastic time! Deanna sent me pictures the whole time and her son was also a perfect match for my high-energy pup. I’ll definitely be contacting her again when I need dog sitting.
Deanna did an incredible job watching Barksdale, my 6-year old goldendoodle. It's clear that she's a dog lover and she treated Barksdale like he was part of her family. I'd trust her again without hesitation.

Schedule
I work from 7-3 and come home for an hour at lunch. I’ll be travelling some weekend but likely be sticking pretty close to home during the coming months.

While we don’t have a fenced yard, I’m more than happy to take your dog on leashed hikes, long walks and bike rides if they are comfortable.

A typical day
We have a number of hiking trails near our house as well as open fields for lots of running and playing. Our backyard is spacious and my son’s dog, Ted is up for some playing.

- It’s is important that your dog gets along with other dogs. Ted can be very shy at unpredictable times but he is a very sweet and cuddly guy.
