I can’t recommend Deanna highly enough. I actually found her in a bit of a stressful, last-minute situation—my usual dog walker had to cancel due to a family emergency just before a planned trip, and every other sitter I’d used before was unavailable. I was seriously considering canceling my trip altogether. Deanna came recommended by a friend, but I’m *very* protective of my dogs and don’t usually trust someone new after just a quick meet and greet. I decided to go through with meeting her anyway, thinking that if nothing else, she might be a good option for a future trip or an occasional walk, if needed. But honestly, within minutes of meeting her, I felt completely at ease. My dogs took to her right away, which says a lot, and she has this calm, understanding demeanor while still being playful, warm, and genuinely loving with them. Over the course of that first meeting, I surprised myself by asking if she was available on such short notice—which pretty much confirmed my trip was back on. Leaving was still nerve-wracking (it always is), but Deanna could tell and went out of her way to make me feel more comfortable. She FaceTimed me, sent plenty of pictures, and always responded to my texts and calls promptly. That level of communication made a huge difference. When I returned home, everything was exactly as it should have been—if not better. My dogs were happy and clearly well cared for (honestly, they seemed like they had such a great time they were almost less excited than normal to see me 😄). My home was in great condition, and she followed all care instructions perfectly, including feeding schedules and administering medication—something I’ve found even trusted sitters don’t always get right. Since then, she’s become my go-to anytime I travel. As someone who is also a dog owner who travels, she clearly understands how hard it is to leave your pets and does everything she can to make the experience as stress-free as possible. If you’re looking for someone reliable, attentive, and genuinely great with dogs, Deanna is it.

Deanna was so great with our dog, Rebel! She gave him the love and exercise he needed while we were away on vacation. Rebel now gets so excited when we pass her house and see her on walks. She treats him as if he were her own. Now when we go on vacation, we don't feel guilty leaving him because he gets his own vacation!! We would highly recommend Deanna to care for your pet as we trust her with our 5th family member!
