I’ve had the privilege of knowing Deanna for over 20 years, and I can honestly say there’s no one I would trust more with my pets. Her love for dogs isn’t just a passion, it’s a lifelong commitment backed by decades of hands on training experience and an incredible understanding of behavior. She has a calm, patient approach that puts even the most anxious dogs at ease, and she treats every animal as if it were her own. Whether it’s basic care or more advanced training needs, she goes above and beyond to ensure dogs are happy, safe, and thriving. Any pet parent would be lucky to have her looking after their loved ones.

Deanna has known & adored Bacchus, our senior handsomest man for over seven years. Her biceps have benefitted from her willingness to engage in one of his favourite pastimes - playing ball and everyone knows he is “obsessed”. Deanna knows Bacchus’ security alerts, his cues that he’s ready for meal time, or he would like to go frolic in the yard but most of all his landing on her lap or sitting nearby for some lovely pats. Deanna is trustworthy and reliable providing all of Bacchus’ care in our home. As a senior boy, he has a somewhat complex medication and supplement regime, and we absolutely trust Deanna to follow his schedule. We always come home to a happy and contented dog. He is picky about people, but loves Deanna, which speaks volumes! He is the King of his castle in Summerland, BC and not a man about town, so he appreciates a sitter who is available to pet and house sit. We travel for both work and pleasure, and are grateful to be able to leave the house and Bacchus and be confident we are leaving both in trusted and reliable hands.
