Pet care is my daily routine! I run a home-based dog boarding, daycare, and training business full-time, so caring for dogs is at the center of everything I do. My days are structured around each dog’s needs—feeding schedules, potty breaks, training sessions, playtime, rest, and any special care they require. Because I only take a limited number of dogs at a time, I’m able to give each one the attention, structure, and affection they need to feel comfortable and thrive. Whether it’s a short stay, a full board and train, or just a fun daycare day, your dog becomes part of my daily rhythm—and part of the household while they’re here. From morning routine to evening wind-down, caring for dogs isn’t just part of my schedule—it is the schedule, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🐾

Tell Me All About Your Dog! I’d love to get to know your pup and provide the best care possible. Every dog is unique, and the more I know, the better I can support them. Here are a few things I’d like to learn about: • What does your dog love? Any dislikes, quirks, or triggers I should know about? • Is your dog house-trained? Leash-trained? • Do they have any special needs or require a specific routine or schedule? • Are there any behavior concerns or things you’re actively working on? • What’s their food and treat schedule like? • Are they on any medications? • Who should I contact in case of an emergency? • Which vet do you use? If you’re interested in moving forward, we can talk through everything in more detail and go over the full list together. And just so you know—I’m comfortable with all breeds and have experience with just about every kind of dog out there.

Pet care experience

Hi everyone! I am a passionate animal lover, and knowledgeable caregiver. I have over 22 years of hands on experience. I have picked up tons of knowledge along the way and enjoy broadening my knowledge when it comes to dog nutrition, health, ownership and training. Canine enrichment and exercise is something I find to be both truly beneficial and incredibly important to creating a well balanced dog, and happy/healthy relationship with your dog. With this said, in my home, I offer daily activities/enrichment and exercise for dogs. If you wonder what this looks like, please feel free to reach out! 🙂 Here’s is a little background information about me! I first got involved actively with dogs when I was 10. I showed dogs in 4-H in both confirmation, obedience and agility. I quickly found a passion for dog training as well as behavior modification. I immersed myself with information about training dogs as well as animal psychology. I began working with dogs and their humans to create happy, healthy relationships, as well as educating owners. Such a rewarding experience! For the past 22 years, I have held long term jobs in animal hospitals, dog daycares, pet boutiques, animal shelters, and have been an apprentice/assistant dog trainer for one of KC’s top dog trainers. For me, working with animals has never been enough. I enjoy volunteering in any free time I have to better animals lives. I volunteer at a couple of rescues/humane societies, and really enjoy the wide variety of volunteer opportunities that I am able to do! I am an active foster home for pets with special needs and sometimes litters of kittens/puppies. I also enjoy going on rescue outreach every weekend. When I foster, I have a soft spot for animals that have special needs, as well as senior dogs. I feel like I have seen it all, and am happy to care for dogs who need some tlc! I am pet first aid/cpr certified, and am comfortable and experienced with giving dogs medication, and injections etc. if needed.

I appreciate Deanna sooooo much! She took very good care of my puppies. She text me often letting me know that my puppies were ok. Deana followed the routine I laid out for her. She is the perfect sitter. I look forward to Deanna sitting for my pups again. Also, she sent me the cutest pictures! Thank you Deanna for taking care my babies!

Deanna is an amazing pet sitter and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She is punctual, loving, and goes above and beyond when taking care of animals. She is very knowledgeable about different breeds, their specific needs, and fulfills the needs asked by the owner! If you're looking for the best, you've found her!

Working with animals is never an easy task. It takes a very gifted person to show the kind of patience, love, passion and knowledge that is required. Deanna and I used to work together several nights a week at a doggy day care; so I've witnessed first hand that very "gift" that Deanna has to share and believe me when I tell you; she truly is gifted in the art of animal care. I would NOT hesitate in trusting Deanna with my very own dogs. I would rest assured knowing that they were under the care of someone who will treat them as their own and who will always have their best interest at heart.
