I currently working as a teachers aide at an elementary school and an outdoor educator at an after school nature program. During the work week, I am most available in the mornings and evening. I am also available on the weekends and sometimes during holiday/school breaks. Because I don’t have a car and commute by bike/bus, I can not offer services to folks who live in more rural areas or far from town. I am most likely to accept your request if you message me at least a few days in advance, but you are welcome to send me last minute requests and I might be available! A typical day
As an outdoor educator for kids I carry forward these perspectives when walking dogs. When we go on walks and explore nature together I always give them the chance to pause, smell the flowers, and check out the scenery, while also ensuring they get the exercise they need. I love taking dogs to parks and other beautiful outdoor spaces, and I know of all the best spots! With more energetic animals, I love playing lots of running and chase games and entertaining them with their favorite toys. For more affectionate animals, I will most definitely give them lots of cuddles!

I absolutely love all animals and grew up taking care of many pets, including dogs, cats and guinea pigs. Many friends have trusted me to care for their animals, and I have since decided to expand my services to the wider community through Rover. I am very gentle and compassionate when caring for animals and love giving them my undivided attention. I can help with house/pet sitting and visits, feeding, bathing, and dog walking. I am excited to meet you and your beloved pet(s) and am happy to answer any questions. :)

Deanna was so great, and house sat for us while watching our cat, Jesse! Our cat is very social, so it's super helpful to have someone be able to stay over while we were gone. Jesse loved Deanna, and was very warm and cuddly with them. Deanna sent us photos and video updates, and also took Jesse on daily walks (our cat has a harness and leash, and loves to be outside!). We will definitely be booking Deanna again, and I know Jesse will be very happy when Deanna returns as well! Deanna also left our home extremely clean, and even put our sheets in the laundry for us and ran the dishwasher on the last day. We definitely recomend hiring Deanna!
Deanna looked after our three cats for four days, and all went well. I appreciated that she was on time and attentive for our initial meet-and-greet, and that the cat boxes and such were in good shape when we returned. Deanna also managed to make friends with our little black cat who tends to be skittish and is not a fan of new people.
Deanna takes great care of Luna! She’s great at loading up her food toys and making sure she’s got lots of mental stimulation. She leaves the house like she found it and is quick to respond whenever I reach out!
Deanna took great care of Luna! Easy to coordinate with and confident giving Luna meds and taking her on walks eventhough she’s a bit leash reactive. Came home to a happy pup and a tidy house!
