Hi, I’m DeAndre—a professional, dependable dog walker and sitter serving Tallahassee. I maintain a full-time professional schedule (8–5), which allows me to focus on high-quality early morning, evening, and weekend care—ideal for busy professionals who need reliable support outside standard hours. I was a dedicated dog owner for many years. My dog Dutchess was with me from 2011 until she passed in October 2023. She was exceptionally patient, kind, and loving. While I’m not ready to own another dog just yet, caring for other pets genuinely fulfills that same sense of purpose and connection. I trained Dutchess from 6 months old, giving me a strong foundation in consistency, behavior awareness, and positive reinforcement. I’m comfortable reinforcing routines and helping dogs build good habits in a calm, structured environment.

He made sure Jayce was well cared for and gave us complete peace of mind by sending regular photo and video updates throughout the stay. It was clear that he genuinely cared about Jayce and treated him like his own. We really appreciated the excellent communication and attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to book DeAndre again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!
He was an amazing sitter for Diamond and truly went above and beyond! He made sure she was comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. He kept me updated with pictures every day, was very communicative, and even made her little treats. He made me feel completely at ease knowing Diamond was in such great hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I will definitely be booking with him again if I ever need someone to watch Diamond. I highly recommend him!

I care for pets with a balance of structure, patience, and genuine attention. I make sure each pet feels safe and comfortable by sticking to their routine, following instructions closely, and paying attention to their individual personality and needs. I believe in positive reinforcement, consistency, and creating a calm environment so pets can relax and be themselves. I’m also very observant—I pay attention to behavior, energy levels, and any changes that might need attention. Whether it’s making sure they get enough exercise, giving them affection, or simply being present, I treat every pet with the same level of care and respect as if they were my own. My goal is always to make both the pet and the owner feel at ease.
A typical day
I like to keep pets both physically active and mentally engaged based on their personality and energy level. For more active dogs, I enjoy going on walks, light jogging, and playing games like fetch or tug to help them burn energy. For dogs that prefer a calmer pace, I focus on relaxed walks, gentle play, and plenty of attention and affection. I also like to incorporate simple mental stimulation, like basic training exercises, reinforcing good habits, or teaching small tricks using positive reinforcement. If your pet enjoys it, I’m happy to include enrichment activities like puzzle toys or hide-and-seek games. Most importantly, I adjust everything to what your pet enjoys so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you’re away.
