My husband and I have always had dogs. Puppies to seniors. Our last dog had seizures controlled by medication. When he passed we were heartbroken. We decided to take a break. We had used Rover before so I decided I’d like to sign up and help fellow dog lovers get away and be confident their dog is being cared for and loved on while they’re away.

Deana was fantastic in every regard. She provided marvelous, loving care for our dog Shiloh, while proving regular updates. I highly recommend Deana.
This is the 3rd time Deanna and her husband Gerald have watched our dog while we went out of town. As always, they took great care of Savannah and were very accommodating with her special needs due to a leg injury. It is obvious that they love dogs. We can't recommend them enough!
Percy was well cared for and greatly enjoyed his stay with Deana and her husband! We are so glad we found them. They went above and beyond to care for my dog and make him happy.
Deana and Gerald were wonderful with my elderly dog Leia. They’re a very caring couple and it was obvious she spent a lot of time with Leia. In fact, Leia didnt get that excited about coming back home. Lol That was a first.
I felt bad about boarding Loki for a week because we are rarely separated and he has some anxiety being an older dog. Once I saw how loving Deana & Gerald were, that feeling was gone. They took such great care of him and I could see how he settled in and felt right at home. They sent me daily updates with pictures. They really were terrific!
Deana was wonderful. Louie liked Deana and family so much he hesitated when it was time to come home. lol! Deana gave updates, pictures, and videos of Louie throughout his stay and treated him like he was part of the family. Louie was sick prior to his stay and they closely monitored his health.

Schedule
I work 4 days a week. I’m off on weekends and evenings. My spouse works from home and he helps me with our house guests.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a safe neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard and I can walk them with a leash too. I would keep an eye on them while they’re outside. They will hang with me in my pet safe home or wherever they prefer within eye shot.
A typical day
We’ll play in the yard and house with toys, balls, and take “sniff”walks. Whatever activity the dog is use to. Just let me know. My goal is to keep their normal routine with some extra play, walks and fun since they’re on vacation too.
