At the moment I have an abundance of free time so I am looking to allocate the majority of it toward caring for people's pets.

I tend to let the animal dictate the terms. If they want affection and playtime then it's all theirs, but if they desire space I'll let them be. They get food in the morning and evening, with some treats interspersed throughout the day if they've been on good behavior. Dogs are taken out around 4 times per day, more if required (depending on the dog). Cat litter is scooped at the end of a visit/day and dogs are picked up after immediately.

Let me know if your pet has some special needs that I would need to be aware of. I would also like to know if your pet is high energy, low energy, loves playing just the personality of the dog so that I get to know what to do.

I love having cuddle time with pets and I talk to them so that it isn't too quiet for them. I provide fun time which lasts until the pet is tired or over playing. I like to toss treats in areas that may be time consuming to find so that they get some type of enrichment by sniffing around and getting a reward in the end. I love taking pictures of pets, especially when they act silly.

I've always had cats and have an immense soft spot for them. I have cats of my own and make sure their litter boxes are constantly clean and fresh. I also give them treats every now and then and provide plenty of petting time. I can also clip cat nails and administer oral medication. I know when cats need their space and never overstep their boundaries. I pay close attention to the different behaviors and characteristics cats have.

Dean did such an amazing job housesitting for us while we were on vacation. He took care of our chihuahua and Persian cat and they loved him! We got pictures of our pets everyday and I could tell how well they were being cared for. Dean was very communicative during the whole process and took great care of our home as well. We’ll definitely be booking with him again in the future!
