Dog Lover on 28 Acres-Okelly Chapel
If you are a regular and can't get booked on the website, call me and hopefully we can squeeze you in. ...You pay us to love your dog(s), and that is what we do. Growing up, my family raised German Sheppards, along with the horses, cows, cats, chickens, geese and a myriad of other animals. I'm located on the same 28 acres, conveniently located off O'Kelly Chapel Road in extreme north-east Chatham County/north-west Cary. If the three acre Frisbee field or tennis ball turf isn't enough space, or the 20 acres of woods is too confining, we can head over to the American Tobacco Trail that borders our property. After 33 years of an adult life in Atlanta, I moved back home to care for my now dearly departed parents. Since I work from home, I am here at the house most of the time. Your dog also gets loved by resident assistant JT, along with a cavalcade of ongoing visitors, here to administer affection.

Dean was really cool to talk to and learn about as a person, and very caring and patient with my dog, Phoenix. My dog has special needs and Dean was able to identify them and think through the best ways that Phoenix could be happy at his home and with the other dogs. Dean has worked with many dogs and has a heart for taking care of them and making sure they enjoy their time with him. I am grateful for the time he spent with Phoenix and the care he took with her. Sometimes people write her off as disconnected or "weird" but he didn't. I appreciate that. :-) Thanks Dean!
Dean is amazing. My dog gets lots of love and exercise and comes home happy and tired. Bonus, I get some awesome videos of my dog running free and enjoying the best of lives. Thank you Dean.

Schedule
This has been my primary endeavor for over 10 years. I am here on the property most of the time. There’s always a lot of upkeep to be done with the property and the dogs spend a lot of time outside with me.

Safety, trust & environment
The dogs have run of most of the first floor of the house. The backyard is fenced in and they typically have ongoing access to that outside area.
A typical day
Your dog won't just get a 12 minute walk, or an 18 minute playtime on Astro-turf, laid on the asphalt parking lot, in a chain-linked fenced area. At our place activities are endless. Dogs have a blast. They run through the woods, splash through the springs, roll in the mud, retrieve tennis balls, and endlessly chase each other around our 3 acre field. It’s always fun to hike to the American Tobacco Trail. Your Andy can adventure in the woods, sniffing at everything and digging at the interesting stuff. Your Freddie can frolic with other dogs, or visit the chickens on the barn tour. When we head inside, we can sack out on the sofa, and watch TV game shows, college basketball or Netflix ...OR, if we're tired, just snooze out on the sun deck. You are paying us to LOVE your dog, and that is what we do!
