My background screams “I LOVE ANIMALS!”. I love my line of work: fur-covered scrubs and all! I currently live in Louisa and have worked as a vet assistant since 2024. I also worked at the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA for 2 years as a foster coordinator/adoptions counselor. I’m a UVA grad (2021, Go Hoos!). It’s important to me to build relationships with your pups AND YOU!

Dayton always goes above and beyond for us! She’s very communicative, positive, and reliable.
Dayton took wonderful care of our dogs while we were away and filled us in on everything.
Our cat Evie may have been a little disappointed when we came home. She seemed to be having such a great time with Dayton when she stopped by. Dayton showed excellent communication, dependable care, and gave plenty of attention to our furry family member. We felt completely at ease while we were away and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommended!

Zeitplan
Long or early shifts? No problem, I’ve been there! I’m more than happy to look after your pet as late or as early as needed! I do work 4 10hr shifts a week (M, W, Th, and Fri). I do before/after work drop-ins, lunch time visits in Gordonsville area, and weekend care!

For regular visits, I am very happy to schedule a meet n greet with your dog! I focus on safety as a top priority! Because of this, I won’t walk your dog without a leash in an unfenced area, unless otherwise directed. For cats, I make sure their areas are sanitized and safe during every visit.

Ein typischer Tag
I love to care for dogs both physically and mentally! We’ll take lots of walks, play park time as requested, “sniff time!” and playing with toys! I also would love to do doggie treat puzzles and back yard sprinklers with your dog! For cats, I’m happy to work on any enrichment that they enjoy best. I really love working with shy cats and helping them to come out of their shells!
