También hablo español :) I’ve been around animals all of my life! Growing up we had a handful of birds and fish before I was finally able to have a family dog at 12. Since then, I’ve been happy to take care of the pets of friends and family-dogs, cats, birds, turtles, you name it! Now I have my own dog who I’ve had for the last 5 years and I’m thankful that all of my friends have cats to be able to take care of them whenever they’re away haha. Each of their cats have their own personalities (skittish, cuddly, aloof), let me know what your cat prefers and I’m happy to provide! I’ve also had a lot of training experience, knowing just how important it is to be consistent and provide positive reinforcement. My dog has a high prey drive so I completely understand the struggles of encountering those pesky squirrels! I’m comfortable in providing medication and happy to discuss any other details your sweet sweet baby needs!

Dayshalis was wonderful with our cats, and a great comfort to know they were in good hands while we were out of town. This was our first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous at first, but Dayshalis made me feel very comfortable right away with how responsive, kind, thoughtful, and respectful she was. She was curious about both our cats, learning their personalities and how to best engage them and give them each what they needed. Dayshalis sent us many photos while we were gone, which were really appreciated, and I could see in the photos that the cats were not only at ease and calm, but enjoying themselves and the interactions they were having with Dayshalis. When we got home, the cats weren’t at all upset that we had been gone, as they sometimes have been with other cat sitters. We really appreciate the care Dayshalis took, and highly recommend her as an excellent pet sitter. Thanks Dayshalis!
The. Best of the best
Dayshalis has cared for Ginger and Scoober when I have to go into the office during the week. She has been absolutely wonderful: responsive, punctual, and upbeat. From the start she had known how to handle Ginger, who is fearful and reactive. She engages with both dogs, and even gives each their own 1-on-1 time with separate walks. She carefully notes any changes in their behavior (she has alerted me to a small laceration that Ginger had been hiding, but been licking quite a bit). She tries to make sure that she keeps the dogs to their routine, and leaves the house neat and clean. I'm sad that she's moving away because I really did feel at ease leaving the dogs and the house to her care. Scoober and Ginger will definitely miss her.
Our kitties loved Dayshalis and so do we! She took great care of them, making sure they had plenty of play time and attention. She also takes great photos! Her visits and updates were at consistent times, which is much appreciated.
Dayshalis was great! She was very prompt with her communication prior and throughout caring for our dogs. She was conscientious and considerate. We appreciate all of her help!

Schedule
I have a 9-5 on UWS Manhattan so early morning and evening care fits neatly into my schedule. If you're also in UWS, I can easily do drop ins for lunch as well! My weekends are generally very free so I can make all the time in the world for your furbaby!
