As a freelancer working in the arts, I have been called upon to dog-walk & pet/housesit for colleagues, friends, and neighbours in cities across Canada, Los Angeles, New York and now in my current home of the Hudson Valley. Ive cared for dogs (big and small) cats & kittens and fish. I also love gardening and can care for plants. I am discreet, professional, mature & know how to communicate. I do not drink or do drugs. I live a healthy, peaceful lifestyle and will bring that good, clean energy into your home caring for your pets. I do NOT have my own pet that I would bring to your house.

In my clients home I am usually in-and-out to pick up the doggo and if requested/needed can stay longer to give the dog more play-time, stimulation with games etc in the home or in the yard.

ok so I was NOT prepared for how much my dog would love Dayle more than me lol. She's so easygoing and sweet, like weirdly calming to be around (I later found out she's a yoga instructor/artist which,, checks out). Dropped off a slightly anxious dog and picked up a completely chill one, no idea what magic she worked but I'm not asking questions. She's super on top of things too — texted me pics, let me know how walks went, didn't ghost me the whole weekend like some sitters do. Just an easy, no-drama experience start to finish. 10/10 already planning our next trip just so I have an excuse to book her again.
Dayle watched our dog for us and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She's got this calm, grounded energy about her, and our dog picked up on that right away. Some sitters are all business, but Dayle actually took the time to check in with us, sent updates without us having to ask, and just felt really trustworthy from the start. She's professional in the sense that she does what she says she'll do, but it never feels stiff or transactional with her. More like leaving your dog with a friend who happens to be really good at this. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup and zero stress on our end. Would 100% book with her again. If you're looking for someone kind, reliable, and just genuinely good with animals, Dayle's your person.
Dayle has been taking care of my golden-doodle Charlie for years now, and is trustworthy, reliable, friendly and drama-free. I trust her implicitly in my home, and with my beloved best friend. She has cared for him while housesitting, and taking him for walks. Charlie loves Dayle and so do we!
