My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊

I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.

A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their usual routine as closely as possible. Depending on each dog’s energy level and the weather, we’ll go for walks, play, or simply hang out together as I go about my day—just like I did with my own Labrador. When I’m not at the café working, my husband and I also work from home, and he loves pets just like i do, so they will be 99% of the time in company, napping, relaxing sunbathing sessions by the balcony window. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, included, and right at home.

Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Excellent sitter! And she was very patient and understanding with all of my needs. Being that my dog is a senior and she needs a little extra attention. She was able to handle all of her medication and gental care. She was very responsive and just has a great positive exciting energy about herself. I felt very comfortable leaving my old goat with her.
Dayana kept Brandi active and comforted her during the fireworks on the 4th. She also sent pictures and updates throughout the weekend.Brandi seemed relaxed and comfortable with Dayana from the minute she took her leash.
