Hello! Thank you for looking over my profile. I look forward to talking with you & meeting your pets. I am seasoned animal handler of 20+ years with my expertise being primarily with dogs. I spent 10+ years as a volunteer for my hometown shelter Butte Humane Society where I gained experience handling & training large breed dogs with behavior and training issues. It was through that work that I learned dogs & helping people with their dogs was not only my passion, but my calling. So, I jumped off the “rat race wheel” & have dedicated my life to training dogs & helping people overcome difficult training issues like aggression, leash pulling & the big one….separation anxiety, which I have extensive experience with through my own dogs, as well as others. If your dog is exhibiting separation anxiety signs, I’m your girl! In addition to that, I am incredibly passionate about animal care, nutrition & their emotional well-being which includes caring for your pet when you can’t. Dawn took great care of our dog and was very communicative/proactive during the time we were away.
I would actually give Dawn a 10 star rating - she is wonderful! Our pet felt completely happy and loved under Dawn's care. Dawn stayed in touch with us throughout our trip and will were able to have a great time knowing that our baby was being so well tended.
Dawn is incredible!! She watched my elderly shih-tzu, Mini, for a week while I went to a wedding in Spain. I was really nervous about leaving Mini because her health has recently been declining and she now requires a whole lot of care in addition to just being a spoiled jerk in general. But Dawn was a real gem. Mini was unsurprisingly nervous at first, but Dawn knew just how to calm her down and win her over, giving her neck massages and being really patient. She'd send multiple detailed reports about Mini every day, letting me know how much she was eating, how her meds were going and all about the obnoxious brattiness she was throwing at Dawn. Dawn even went above and beyond what we asked, taking her for walks around the complex to calm her down and getting Mini to play with toys, which she never does with us. Dawn not only put Mini at ease, but she put me at ease as well knowing my baby was so well taken care of! Thank you so, so much, Dawn. I'm so grateful I found you!!
We had the pleasure of meeting Dawn after we spent a long time trying to figure out what to do and how to deal with our dog that has seperation anxiety. We found Dawn on Rover and what drew us to her is all the positive reviews from others and her knowledge on dogs specifically with separation anxiety! She came to our house to get an idea of how our dog reacts in her own domain as well as met us in public places multiple times so she could build a bond with her. Dawn gave us training tips and steps that will help us in the future. When it came time for her to stay with our dog, she was amazing and our dog absolutely loved her! We finally found someone we could trust and depend on! Dawn goes above and beyond to help everyone and every pet! I highly recommend!!
Dawn is the best! Her knowledge of animals and willingness to make sure your pet and you feel comfortable is unmatched to anyone else! I found Dawn on Rover a few months ago as I needed someone to help with my anxious dog when I needed to be gone for an entire day. I know my dog and I could never leave her with just anyone. Dawn met with us multiple times at my house and the park to gain my dogs trust. She met around my schedule to make sure this was a good fit for all of us and when the day came for me to leave, Dawn surpassed all my expectations and sent me photos throughout the day of my very happy dog! My dog absolutely doesn't love anyone and she LOVES Dawn! We are so sad that she has moved away but are so thankful for her advice and help while she was living here! Everyone would be lucky to have her help with their pets! We cannot express how awesome she is!

Programa
This is my primary source of income, so my schedule is generally open. I do have two pups and 3 bunnies of my own to care for, but I am very flexible & will do all I can to work with you, your schedule and your pet’s needs.
