I am so thankful that we found Dawn! We booked last minute after someone else canceled on us, but it was a blessing in disguise. Even with short notice, Dawn was so friendly and easy to communicate with; she quickly made time for us to do a meet and greet with her dogs (who are all great). Her fenced in backyard is very large and the perfect place to play, plus she has a whole room in the house dedicated to her dogs with lots of comfy beds, bones, and toys for them to play with. I could tell immediately how great she was with dogs; she is a dog trainer and it really showed in her ability to make my (sometimes skittish) dog feel comfortable and welcomed into her pack. When we picked up our dog after vacation, he was so happy and tired and clearly had a great week. We were really pleased and immediately booked Dawn again for our next trip away! Thanks for everything!

Thanks Dawn for watching our dog! Leia had a blast and loved meeting your dogs and staying with you for 2 nights. I loved getting photos and videos during her stay with you. You have a great set up at your house for keeping dogs and giving them tender loving care. Leia enjoyed staying with you and being part of your family.

Dawn was Great! The set up and where the dogs stay is amazing. Huge fenced in backyard with a large dog door for the dogs to go in and out as they please. Her dogs are so friendly and got along my dog greatly. I could really tell my golden retriever had a blast and enjoyed his stay. He even got some dog treats sent home with him. 100% would recommend.

I first met Dawn Rice when I took my 1 year old Pit Bull mix for training. Hope was so full of energy and love that she would knock people over when she went to greet them. After a few sessions with Dawn she is much better behaved. Dawn uses a very positive and gently approach to training. As a result, Hope thinks the sun rises and sets on her. She cannot wait to see her when we got to training sessions (we are now on Good Citizen) and she follows Dawn around following her every command. So, if you are looking for a dog sitter the you dogs will fall in love with and you can rest easy that they will be cared for, then I can surely recommend Dawn.

Her compassion for animals is unsurpassed and many times I have seen Dawn put her comfort behind that of her animals'. Dawn has taken a number of classes pertaining to pet care as well as animal behavior. Dawn also volunteers at a local pet shelter.
