Hi! My name is Dawn, and I have extensive experience as both a veterinary assistant and a pet sitter. I grew up around all kinds of animals and currently share my home with two dogs, four cats, a lizard, and a fish. My Siberian Husky, Kain, and my Labrador mix, June, keep me active, while my cats—Katniss, Biddy, Kitty, and Onyx—keep things interesting. I’m confident handling larger dogs and take pride in providing attentive, reliable care. Because my Husky is very high-energy, I’m comfortable working with dogs that need extra exercise, patience, or structure. I truly love all animals, and have been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family for years. I look forward to meeting and caring for your wonderful four-legged companions!

Minnow had a great time with Dawn during our extended 2+ week trip away! So much so that she moped around for the first few days after coming back home. End-of-vacation blues are real for everyone! :) We will definitely use Dawn again in the future.
I’ve boarded my dog with Dawn several times, and will continue to board him there. Dawn is flexible with last minute bookings and drop off / pick up times. I had surgery and needed someone to care for my dog immediately, Dawn accepted right away, communicated with me everyday, sent pictures and videos and even sent my pup home with a toy that he liked at her house. It gave me peace of mind to know that he was well cared for while I was recovering.
Dawn does an awesome job checking on our cat while we’re away. She’s super responsive and friendly. We’ll definitely book again in the future!

I feel so lucky to have found Dawn! Communication exceeds expectation. Dawn is flexible and understanding on drop off and pick up time. My doggie is super excited each time we pull up to Dawn’s house.
Merlin had a wonderful time staying with Dawn and her critters. He is an older dog, so he doesn't do well in noisy kennels. I'm very pleased with how relaxed he was when we picked him up from his vacation at Dawn's. Highly recommend!!!!

I currently work part-time at PetSmart as a Dog Trainer and Pet Care Specialist. My schedule is flexible, so please feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs.

Safety, trust & environment
If your pet stays in my home, they’ll have the opportunity to play with my two pups and enjoy plenty of toys. For high-energy dogs, we may also take occasional trips to the park for extra exercise and enrichment. I also have a fenced-in area in my front yard where dogs can safely play and stretch their legs.

A typical day
Some fun activities I enjoy doing with dogs include visits to parks or waterfalls, enrichment toys, car rides for pup cups, and plenty of snuggle time.
