I’ve had dogs all my life. Sadly having recently lost our family dog of 15 years I’m looking to fill the big gap left in my heart. Not wanting to totally commit to another dog at the moment, I would love the opportunity to care for others as my own in our dog loving family home. With more than 40 years experience of all kinds of dogs, and other animals I’m well equipped with all the tools and most importantly patience and love to care for your furry friend. Our dog was a rescue who came with issues which we managed to work through enabling him to live a happy 15 years with us. I will treat yours as my own, being mindful to respect any rules and values you may have, offering plenty of walks, love and affection.

Safety, trust & environment
There are no young children in the house, we are all confident, experienced animal lovers especially dogs. Our dog always slept in his own bed, either downstairs or in one of our bedrooms at night and was generally not allowed on the sofa or beds unless invited. Any dog would be treated like part of the family and we would accommodate any particular needs as best we can. I would always respect the rules that you have for your pet as I appreciate how frustrating it can be when these are not adhered to. I have experience of caring for both young and old. There are currently no other pets in the house and I would only ever have a maximum of 2-3 dogs at a time depending on their individual requirements and temperament and assuming they are tolerant of others and happy to have playmates. We have a large garden which is fully fenced and secure.

Dawn was such a lovely lady she went above & beyond finding out about aura what she does and doesn’t like she even took her to a private field so she could have a good run off lead. We would highly recommend her.
Dawn was absolutely fantastic. Dawn had my dog, Sky overnight and I could not recommend her enough. I received regular updates, sky went on several walks and played throughout her stay. Dawn treated sky as if she were her own, and I am so pleased to have found Dawn !! 10/10 and would recommend to anyone.
Many thanks Dawn for looking after Theo while we attended our sons wedding. Theo is a massive part of our family and to know he is being looked after so well, with special care and love, allowed us to enjoy our special day. The photo updates of Theo enjoying his time with you, were great and so ensuring knowing he was so happy and contented. We would recommend Dawn as a dog sitter! Frank had plenty of space to run around in their lovely garden. Dawn was understanding, trustworthy and communicated well (we got lots of updates - thank you!)
Dawn is an amazing carer. My little rescue dog spent 10 nights with Dawn, he has had the best time. Regular updates and photos sent to me whilst away. I have known Dawn for 32 years and during that time she has looked after our pets when we were away and also lovingly raised her dog Archie. Archie lived to a fantastic age and had a fantastic life with Dawn. She would be a very responsible carer for peoples’ pets whether it be walking them or pet sitting etc.

Schedule
I’m currently working part time from home which means I am extremely flexible and have plenty of availability. I am generally at home and would enjoy the company of a dog in the house again with me as we lost our dog of 15 years and miss him terribly. I am happy to drive a short distance to collect or do home visits and walks.
