UPDATE: Starting August 2026, I have a rare opening for midday walks/visits for daily walks of 3 or more walks a week. As a lifelong pet owner, pet rescuer, and a Fairy Paw Mother, your bestie is my buddy. I'm happy to help you out when you need an extra hand. I understand the need to have reliable and compassionate care for your pets while you are away.

Dawn was great about showing up and treating our girl Audrey to a nice midday walk on short notice. Judging from how happy she seemed when I got home later, it was a lot of fun for her -- would definitely recommend and will remember Dawn for next time!
This was our first time working with Dawn, and it went great! She was very accommodating when setting up the meet and greet with our dog. Throughout the entire process, she was quick to communicate. She also provided detailed updates and adorable photos of our dog after the walk. I’m so glad we found someone we can trust to care for our dog. Schedule
I'm available for drop-ins, walks, and "almost overnights". I provide private boarding for one dog or two from the same family. Your dog(s) must pass a compatibility test with my three dachshunds. I'm happy to see where I can provide your family with loving, compassionate care for your bestie.

I'm generally available from 9 - 6. I will do earlier/later drop-ins and walks, just ask! Finding reliable and attentive care for your family member can be so difficult. I respect your pets like they were my own. I'm trained in pet (and human) CPR and first aid. I'm also independently bonded and insured so you have extra peace of mind.

A typical day
I frequently walk down by the Mississippi and other city parks. My pups also like to play in our fenced urban back yard or just snuggle with me on the couch.
