With over 35 years of pet care experience, fur babies are my favorite obsession—-so much so that I’ve built a full-scale dog park in my backyard! I plan and host very ornate annual dog parties, such as my highly anticipated Halloween Yappy Hour (a doggie social where their owners can mix and mingle with other dog enthusiasts). I’m a University of Houston alumni and hold 2 Masters degrees—-one in Behavioral Science and another in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. My Ph D studies were in that area as well. Go Coogs!! As in anything that I approach, I take my dog-sitting responsibilities very seriously and I constantly strive to exceed my customer’s expectations. I routinely send updates, pictures, and am available for questions or even a quick check-in! It’s important for my clients to trust that their pet is in a nurturing and loving environment. Although I am not affiliated with a rescue group, I have successfully rescued and found loving, forever homes for 38 stray dogs (various breeds) within the last 2.5 years. They say that dogs are a man’s best friend, but this country girl begs to differ!
