Small dogs/special care/lotsa love
I love dogs! Big dogs, small dogs, hairy dogs, bald dogs, I love ‘‘em all. And I love taking extra good care of them. When they stay with me, they are guests in my home, encouraged to snuggle on the furniture, sleep in the bed, given treats (as allowed by parents), walked twice a day, and taken outside to play in my small fenced in yard. I am a retired social worker, so have been a caregiver for a long time. I have a certificate from the Catch Dog Training school, and volunteered for a number of years at the Dog Shelter. Come visit for a meet and greet when you want a home away from home for your fur baby. I also provide short-term daycare for one dog at a time.

Dawn was amazing for my first experience with Rover! She set up a meet and greet in advance for our dogs to meet and make sure everyone was comfortable. She kept me updated with how my dog was doing and even sent pictures. Would definitely recommend.

Dawn was amazing! My dog has separation anxiety, but he instantly felt comfortable around her. He went on walks, had plenty of places to nap, and seemed to have an amazing time overall. I am very grateful for Dawn’s care and concern!
Very nice Sitter, we felt she took great care of our dog, kept us updated with messages and pics, quick to respond to any questions we had. She is an excellent choice in the Columbus area and we would use her again without question!!!

Schedule
I tailor my schedule.as much as possible to the dogs’ needs. I have a fur baby of my own that I spend as much time as I can with.

Safety, trust & environment
I check for medication instruction, always use a leash, follow any special care instructions. I stick to a schedule, hold and comfort frightened dogs, and never raise my voice.
Pets
A typical day
We go to the dog park, and walk around the neighborhood twice a day. Also have playtime, snuggle time, and nap time as requested by the dog.
