I love all furry creatures. I have over 7 years of veterinary experience, one year with the Spokane Humane Society, and a lifetime of personally caring for our furry friends. I am able to adapt to any schedule that you may need (outside of my work schedule, of course. My personal schedule is light and flexible), and can administer any medications that may be necessary (including insulin). I fostered for SHS and other rescue organizations for years and usually took on the special needs ones, so I've encountered a variety of animals with particular circumstances. Dawn was fantastic. Always prompt & made sure our 12yo cat Salem got 'scritches' as affection is the only medicine he needs. We had not thought to mention how to handle a hairball ralph since they seldom happen but OF COURSE it did during our away time! He's a domestic longhair so the ralphs are pretty big. Dawn handled in stride & let us know exactly where it had happened in case our wood floor might need follow-up attention to the cleaning she did. Dawn is trustworthy & I wanted to show here that she goes beyond the call if something odd happens. Aloha

Dawn was awesome and very helpful when we boarded our labradoodle with her. She sent status updates and pup photos throughout our 2-week vacation which was comforting and reassuring. I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!

Dawn's heart for fur babies is as big as they come. Not only did I adopt my rescue pup from her foster care, but I frequently utilize her to dog-sit my 70-lb heeler mix when I travel out of town. Over the years I've seen her bond with foster after foster (even special needs animals!), treating each as if they were her own. Walks, cuddles, you name it. I would never hesitate to recommend Dawn for anything dog related.
Since I've known Dawn she's been a great with dogs and has a deep interest in helping with their care. She is the one that helped us through getting our own dog and any questions that we've had since then. Animals are Dawn's calling and she is knowledgeable about their care and making sure that your dog will have the best time while you are away.

With my flexible work schedule as of late, I can provide care as requested. If your pup is used to daily walks in your neighborhood or at the park, I am (typically) able to work that into my own schedule.

I come from a fear-free background, so I incorporate those tenents when I interact with any animal. I encourage owners to write a detailed list of their pets needs and how they'd like me to care for them so we both have piece of mind.

A typical day
Long walks, trips to the park, games, treats and lots of snuggles. I don't run fast, but we might be able to fit one of those in. :)
