Let me know if your dog needs any special care or attention - ot if any quirks I need to know like they bark at the vacuum when on, they bark at cars etc or chase cats. Once the dogs are comfortable around each other I allow them in and out of the garden area as they like so lots of free roaming time. *Kindly note there is additional charges of DKK55 only for pick up after 5:00 pm.
A typical day
I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member. I work part-time to ensure I have the flexibility and time to care for my own dog — and yours, should you choose to place your trust in me. My dog and I enjoy long, enriching walks, and I bring that same energy and care to every dog I look after. Living in Billund, we are lucky to have access to beautiful walking paths and nature areas nearby, which makes it easy to provide dogs with stimulating walks, fresh air, and plenty of exercise. Whether your pet needs daily walks, daytime care, or overnight boarding, I provide a safe, nurturing environment where your dog will be treated as one of the family. I am also happy to support international families with dogs, I aim to make communication easy and reassuring for those who may be new to the area. I understand that leaving your dog with someone new can feel like a big step, so I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure everyone feels comfortable — including my own dog and to the other dogs I care for. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. Services Offered (in the Billund area): • Daily Dog Walks (1–2 times per day) • Doggy Daycare • Doggy Boarding (overnight stays) Experience: • Dog sitting for various breeds and sizes • Fostering puppies • Walking 2–3 dogs at a time Important Notes Before Booking: 1. Your dog must be comfortable around children 2. Dogs must be tick-free, house-trained 3. 5 stars are too few for the extraordinary care Dawn has taken of my dog Minnie. Every day at pick up I was greated by a happy and tired pup. Dawn was sure to share pictures periodically which was thoughtful and appreciated. If we are ever somewhat close again and need someone to watch Minnie, Dawn will by my first choice.
I’m absolutely happy with Dawn and Rex is too. She is friendly and highly professional and took very good care of Rex. She invested extra effort to win his trust, as he is a very careful dog and needed a few minutes to come along.
Dawn and her family are a home away from home for Benji when we aren't there - she welcomes him in like one of her own and we can see (from her wonderful insta updates) that he's having good long walks, fun in the sun and cuddles. Thank you Dawn!
