Dawn took terrific care of my own very sensitive collie mix as well as my mother’s mini golden-doodle. Both came back relaxed and tired from playing.

I booked Dawn for 3 nights of boarding, but dropped my boys off each evening around 5 PM and picked them up at 8 AM since they are velcroed to me. Within the first hour of the first drop-off, one of them escaped. Luckily he was found safe, and I only missed an hour of work. That night, he also got into food on the counter (a bad habit I'm working on). The second night went smoothly. The morning I went to pick them up, Dawn sent a photo of a damaged couch. I apologized and asked for details. During the meet & greet, she’d asked if my dogs were kennel-trained. I said yes, and that they could even share one. But when I asked about the damage, she said she only kennels dogs if the owner provides the kennel, which she never mentioned before. I also asked if they’d been left alone (they have anxiety and that’s why I book boarding). She said she was home all night, but couldn’t explain why she didn’t see them damaging the couch. She also didn't provide any photo update of them that night. She then said she could no longer watch them. I’ve used four sitters so far while trying to build a reliable rotation. Every other sitter has happily welcomed my boys back, except for Dawn.
