I grew up with a Bichon Fries, and an American Staffordshire terrier Boxer mix. I’ve taken care of my sister’s pitbull mix many times over the past 7 years. I love walking, playing with, and cuddling with dogs! Pitbull breeds are my favorite! I became a cat owner about three years ago, and love my two kitties Daisy and Lily to pieces. I love learning the personality of a new cat, and finding my way to their heart. Pets that I board will need to be cat friendly. I am so excited meet new dogs and cats in the Peoria area! My first rover cancelled on us last minute. But Dawn replied right away, and watched Avery for us that same day. She definitely saved our trip. She kept us updated with pictures of Avery which I loved. I felt safe and confident with leaving Avery at her house.
I split a home with Dawn for a year. We both had multiple animals living with us, and after I saw the way she cared for her dogs (and after she met mine, her cats) I knew I could trust her to care for my cats and guinea pigs when I was away. Dawn was very attentive to the needs of my cats- sometimes more than I was- and I could tell she truly cared for all my creatures. Dawn is good at maintaining routines for animals, and would be ideal for animals who may have special needs as she works in the medical field. She communicates well, works hard, and is an overall ideal pet sitting candidate.
Dawn is my maiden of honor and my supervisor. I cant imagine a more responsible person for this task and can easily lead a gaggle of animals like she leads dozens of humans a day. She already volunteers at the pound so she already has vast experience with animals and owns 2 cats and a dog in the past. They are all spoiled, she loves them so much and is so patient with Lilys skittishness.
Dawn is the loving and devoted owner of two cats and shows them nothing but affection, attention, and the utmost care. Dawn has shown me over the years I have known her that she loves all animals and can be trusted to take care of anyone's pets. She is attentive, friendly, patient, and caring. I would trust her to take care of my pets and show them love and friendship as well as attending to their every need.
Dawn helped care for our 3dogs (we had one at a time:bichon, am staff and German Shepard - pit mix) growing up. She is so kind and affectionate to all sentient beings. She was summa cum laude in college and has always been very responsible at her jobs. She'd make a great dog walker and sitter. .

Schedule
I work a full time job Monday through Friday, from approx. 7:30am to 4:00pm. I am generally available for walks and check ins from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on week days. I am free on weekends and can do check ins and walks any time between 8:00am and 8:00pm. I am only able to board dogs Friday through Sunday.

I have a fenced in yard and a crate for pets up to about 30 pounds. Pets are allowed on furniture including couches and beds. Please let me know if you would like them crated or told to stay off furniture.

I’d love to go on walks in the neighborhood or in a park, play with toys, and give the darling lots of pets when they get sleepy!
