I have a large fenced yard for play and potty time. I offer everything your pet would need to be away from home including beds, blankets and bowls. All you need to bring is their own food. Proof of vaccinations including rabies and bordatella must be provided prior to drop off.

Any dog staying in my home must be dog friendly and able to socialize with multiple dogs as I do host more than one at a time. I do have 3 small dogs, a 15y/o, male pug mix and a 9 y/o small mixed girl and a 9 y/o shih tzu girl. I am only able to host small to medium sized dogs. I prefer dogs that are over 2 years old and out of their rambunctious stage. I do not host unaltered dogs. I prefer smaller dogs under 35 pounds. High energy dogs are not a good fit as I tend to have a lot of senior dogs that do not appreciate all that energy. Huskies, aussies and similar dogs are not a good fit for my home. I choose the mix of dogs I accept very carefully so as to provide the best possible environment for everyone. It is very important during the meet and greet to be completely transparent about your pets behaviors, likes, dislikes and quirks. This will help set your pet up for the best possible experience while in my care. Thank you.
A typical day
A typical day: I have a large fenced yard for lots of frolicking! In the summer I have a small kiddie pool for fun in the sun. We typically go outside about every 2 hours. Inside the house are lots of beds with blankets for them to choose from. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they like. If I need to leave the house, dogs are separated to avoid shenanigans. We have morning, afternoon and evening feeding times. If your dog has special feeding needs I can accommodate that.

I've owned and cared for multiple dogs for over 30 years. My dogs are family and all life decisions include their welfare. Any dog in my household or any home that I visit gets love, attention and care like they are my children. My availability is currently open and flexible. I can provide limited medication dispensing such as oral medication, ear & eye meds. I love dogs and can often be heard talking to them like they understand what I'm talking about. Frank, Lucy, Zoey and I look forward to meeting new people and their pets and offering that loving environment every pet should have especially when they need it most, when mom and dad are gone. Thank you for your trust. Look forward to meeting you! I am home full time. I may leave the house up to 2 hours or so at a time but am home about 90% of the time. I have a large fenced yard. There is plenty of shade throughout the yard during the day. I have gates in the house to separate dogs if necessary and also at feeding time. I am home full time and offer very flexible drop off and pick up times. A 30 minute heads up is usually all I need. I have a large fenced yard for strolling, sunbathing and potty breaks. I also provide beds, blankets and bowls. Crates are also available if needed.

This was our first experience using Rover for our 2 dogs, and since Dawn was highly rated we reached out to her. She responded right away, allowed us to come for a meet and greet and then agreed to watch our dogs (on short notice) while we went away for vacation. She even sent a few pics and updates while we were gone and we had total peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. Thank you, Dawn!
Our senior dog Belle needed a low-key, relaxing environment while we were away and Dawn was able to provide that in her home! She provided text updates with photos while we were away which we enjoyed.
Dawn is awesome! You can tell she deeply cares for all the animals in her care. She’s responsive, thoughtful and, overall, just a fantastic person. My dog was wiped out after playing so much. I will definitely trust her again to take care of my pet.
I never left my 2 year old dog Benji with someone I don’t know before. Dawn’s reviews were great but it’s still a concern. We had a meet and greet after which I felt very comfortable to try it out. Dawn was very flexible to accommodate my times for drop off and pick up. While in her care she made sure to send photos to keep me updated about his wellbeing. Benji made friends with other dogs and was very well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Dawn to anyone and use her in the future! Christine
