Welcome to C & L’s Cozy Dog Retreat I have 2 pups, Chip & Lucy, ages 11 & 8, that I have raised from puppies. Many of my friends have dogs, and they frequently come over. I also enjoy riding horses when I can. I have experience working with anxious dogs & dogs in shelters also (as a volunteer). I love taking dogs for walks, playing with them, & give them attention. I limit the number of dogs I take at any given time so each pup gets lots of individual attention. You can see some of the dogs I have walked/played with in my profile pictures. I’m frequently in the Chestertown area and am more than happy to help with your pet-sitting needs. I offer drop-off and pick-up for your pups' boarding.

I have a fenced yard and 2 friendly dogs. I can also kennel your dog if needed. A meet-and-greet with the dogs would be required before any overnight stays with us. Also, proof of immunizations.

Dawn is great. When we arrive for drop off, Henry runs inside and doesn’t look back at us. No stress for him is good for us.
Dawn was fabulous -- both with Athena and with the situation; she came and sat with our dog Athena while there was a wedding going on outside and it was an utter madhouse and she was kind and soothing with both the canine and dog customers. Do not hesitate to book with Dawn. She is knowledgeable and flexible.
Dawn is great. She kept us updated with fun pictures. She kept Henry busy with walks and playtime which is challenging with a young JRT! We look forward to booking again!
Everything worked out perfectly! Lincoln got two walks, played in a fenced in yard and even took a dip in the river. Great communication as well
It gives me peace of mind to know that whenever I go away my fur baby will be very well cared for by Dawn.
Dawn did a great job looking after my 5 year old lab. I would recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
I am available 24/7, Monday-Friday. I accept boarding and doggie daycare on a limited basis. Please message me if you are interested. This ensures I can give each pet the attention they need while ensuring safety. I am also happy to do multiple check-ins a day while your friend stays in their familiar home.
