One requirement for all my visitors is that they are sociable and friendly with both other dogs and people. I regularly have multiple dogs at a time and I love to watch them play and socialise together. I also ensure all my dogs are fully vaccinated, including kennel cough. I use a pet tracker for the safety and security of dogs in my care.

A typical day
I typically walk the dogs twice a day, once in the morning and once after lunch. These often consist of long walks in and around the Salisbury Plain area - which include woodlands, rivers, open meadows and anywhere I know to be dog friendly and safe. When we are not out of the house, the dogs are free to roam inside and outside due to the nature of my garden.

Pet care experience
I am Wiltshire council licensed Home Boarder (LN/OOOO19873), with a 5 star council rating. Fully insured and regularly inspected. This requires me to ensure all dogs I host must have to a currant vaccination certificate and that includes kennel cough. I love going on long walks in the countryside in all seasons and its always better with a dog. My aim is to make my home a home from home for your pets This is my full time role, and I love to spend my time walking and playing with dogs that would otherwise be lonely at home on their own. I am happy to host dogs up to 30kg in my home. I have a secure good size garden for dogs to play and a pet friendly home with dogs gates to ensure security and safety for all pets. Making your pets feel at home and enjoying a stress free stay is my priority. Sticking to routines as much as possible helps your pets to relax and enjoy their stay. I also strive to cater for their specific needs. I have a dog proof home and a large secure garden for them to play freely. This is inspected regularly. I have recently completed and passed a pet first aid course and have a diploma in canine behaviour.

It was the first stay for our 6 year old Chocolate Cocker spaniel, it was like leaving your child for the first day of school. Dawn is brilliantly organised and any questions or worries I had, she had a reassuring answer. No sooner had I arrived home I had photos of my very happy dog having the best time! New walks, new friends to play with, my only worry was if she was going to want to come home! Dawn could not have been more professional and kind and gave our dog the most lovely walks, including her favourite, jumping in and out of rivers. As we were abroad it was lovely to see photo updates and we got lots! Thank you Dawn, we have already booked again!
Dawn was excellent. From our first meeting, it was clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs in her care. She was warm, professional and organised, and her home was the perfect setup for an overnight stay. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dog was in such safe and caring hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dawn and will definitely use her again.
Oscar has stayed with Dawn several times now, and I honestly wouldn’t leave him with anyone else. He always has the best time, and it’s so reassuring knowing he’s being looked after so well. Dawn keeps me updated throughout his stay with messages and photos, which gives me complete peace of mind. It’s obvious how much she genuinely cares for the dogs she looks after. Dawn looked after Oscar brilliantly and I couldn’t have asked for better care. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome which immediately put my mind at ease. Dawn is extremely professional and clearly loves and cares for the dogs she looks after. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which reassured me that Oscar was happy, settled, and being cared for so well while we were away.
